After 5 previous cruises with Carnival, my family & I decided to try Royal Caribbean. We were extremely pleased with our vacation. ( The only drawback was that it was too short !). Embarkation in Bayonne NJ ( Port Liberty ) was easy ( no waiting ). This was the same with disembarkation ( and there was no problem with our Uber driver picking us up ). Our cabin (10578) was forward. We were ...

Have sailed with Celebrity several types and never been disappointed. Dining experience is fantastic, quality of food first class. Staff and level of service excellent. Ship is a little dated, but I believe it is going in for a refit next year, but that wouldn't stop me from using this ship again. Sunday 9th September sailed from Cape Liberty, was raining so not great views of ...

This was a unique opportunity for us to experience a cruise ship outside of the Caribbean. The itinerary sounded intriguing, so we booked it in late December 2017. Good thing, as we were told the cruise had sold out. We took the Amtrak train from our home town (Washington, DC) to the Liberty International Airport station, then grabbed a free hotel shuttle from there. It was raining when we ...

Chose anthem of the sea because we truly felt there was an array of activities on board to keep us busy and it met and exceeded all expectations. We went out of Bayonne New Jersey and there was some kind of a traffic hold up At the dock but once we got beyond that check in was a breeze. There was so much to do on this boat even the days at sea will be filled with fun and adventure. You ...

We were on The Adventure of the Seas. We left out of Bayonne, NJ. Leaving on the 31st of September returning on the 7th of September. Sailed up the East Coast. The weather was perfect the whole trip. My 90 year old Mother was with us. The staff were all gracious and helpful. Our stops were Portland, Maine, Bar Harbor, Maine, St. John’s, New Brunswick, Canada, & Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. ...

First Time Cruising on this ship.. this was our 20th cruise.. Ship is well laid out and well decorated, not a fan of all the browns, but I understand its the new fashion. enjoyed the new cabin design, it was just perfect and the new larger shower was awesome. Specialty restaurants were on point and not to be missed. We never went to the dining room. we left the formal cloth's at home..they WERE ...

Friends who work in school systems could only go in August-I never cruise then-I love getting away in the winter from the snow!! But we did it and it was so hot--I would never do that again! The ship is beautiful and on a smaller scale (about 2200 guests) than the NCL that was in port with us with their (over) 5000 guests!! Talked to some of the NCL people and they said never again---too big-lines ...

My sister and I traveled with our mother, who uses a specialized wheelchair full-time. We booked this cruise less than 1 month prior to sailing when a HC cabin suddenly become available. Our drive to the port was just over an hour in Sunday morning traffic (approximately 65 miles). Embarkation was smooth & very fast and we had lunch at Sushi on 5 in order to avoid crowds at the buffet. The ...
