Port was a bit pushy trying to sell everything, did our own thing and walked up to the fort which was good, then took a water taxi to one of the beaches which was good value and friendly, island very pretty

We just took a taxi to Grand Anse beach. We entered at the Alamanda Hotel and the taxi driver arranged to be back to pick us up. Beach entrance was free but there were beach chairs and wifi there for a fee. Bathrooms do cost too so... go before you come or in the ocean. The beaches were sandy white and beautiful, clear, warm water. The beach didn't have lots of palms where we were, but Sea Almond trees that looked really cool and provided a lot of shade. Lots of locals pedaling goods on the beach but we didn't mind too much and even bought some things. We didn't have a lot of time but we enjoyed swimming in the ocean and soaking up some sunshine on the beach for a few hours. We would love to have more time in Grenada in the future. Read Less

Beautiful island of spice! I wish we had taken an excursion here. We opted to enjoy the shopping area which was located just off the ship. It was an enjoyable day!

The port was pleasant enough and the locals were nice enough as well, However, there really isn't too much to do or see in the vicinity of the port. Beware of the Sendall Tunnel, which we were told is a pedestrian zone. It most certainly isn't and people and vehicles are made to get way too close to each other. Read Less

We took the Water Taxi that you take right from the cruise pier to Grand Anse Beach. Water Taxi was five dollars one way. Great way to spend the morning that we were docked there for.

I don't think we saw Grenada at its best. We were late arriving in Port so only had a few daylight hours there. It was school leaving time for them and the place was so busy, we could barely walk down the streets. it was quite intimidating, people stopping us to buy things, try and get us on trips with them. We didn't explore far before deciding it didn't feel too safe and returned to the ship Read Less

a long time favourite, took a cab to the beach, quietest we have ever seen it, bought some spices and enjoyed swimming and relaxing.

Those that visited the interior of the island seemed to enjoy themselves, but we stuck to the port and town. The small local market is just a short stroll from the port, and the next bay is easily reachable through the tunnel, although navigating the traffic wasn't fun . The bay is attractive as working ports go, but the nicest bit was the restaurant over the water (and the cocktails!). I also enjoyed the little land train ($15, only ran in the morning when we visited) Read Less

The infrastructure here is terrible. Awful sidewalks. If you have mobility issues I highly recommend taking an excursion and not walking around. People are very pushy here.

Took a 2 1/2 hour private taxi ride with driver Jimmy. He was great and shared a lot of information about Grenada. Well worth the money

Not real happy here as everyone had his hand out for money and it seemed like every venue charged for everything, including going to the bathroom. This is the one island I would not want to see again.
