Getting on and off the ship was easy (note: if you have Global Entry bring your cards (they do not have passport scanners) and look for the right line because it is not well marked).

Treated our extended family to an 8 night Caribbean cruise for the holidays. There were seven of us total in 3 cabins.

to spend Christmas with my son and his family. I was not aware that this particular cruise would be all about beaches and water sports. Labadee is very nice, pretty, scenic, but there's nothing to do except swim or play water sports which cost a lot of money or sit on the hot beach all day. The shopping is very limited too. We chose the cruise based on duration, ports and ship activities. Grand Cayman was nice, but the snorkel portion of our excursion was canceled due to weather. Costa Maya is a terrible port.
