My husband was a first time cruiser and myself the first time with Princess and we loved it. The appointments of the ship were superb and she is really a gorgeous ship. The staff were great, nothing was too much trouble and the dining always fantastic.
We travelled to Brunei, Nha Trang, Ho Chi Minh City, Sianhoukville, Ayuttayha and Koh Samui in Thailand. A very busy holiday, our choice to ...
This is not the first time we embarked at Singapore Marina Bay Cruise Terminal. The facility is very modern and yet we still waited for more than 2 hours before we could get on board. The only queue waiting time at the Immigration was the culprit. Though there was supposed to have different check in time slots, it didn't work. The itinerary /ports of call was excellent with 3 days at sea ...
Check-in was very smooth and we where onboard within an hour. Saphire is a lovely ship and we managed to find out way around most of the time. We had lunch in the Horizon every day including the first day. The food plentiful and I was able to find foods that suited my special dietary requirements. We did traditional dining and found the others at our table just lovely. We had two ladies from ...
DH and I have taken many cruises but this was the first one to Asia, and we loved it. We would recommend this cruise for anyone that likes hot, humid weather.
We had booked our flight and hotel through Princess. Our flight left on time from Los Angeles at 11:35 PM. We flew with Cathay Pacific, not the most comfortable but it was ok - probably would have been better if we would have flown ...
This was our first Princess Cruise and we loved it. Yes the ship was looking a little tired in places but it is not new! We did not expect the service to be as good as it was - having previously sailed with celebrity - the staff were excellent, very attentive and willing to go the extra mile. The food in the restaurants was good - the buffet restaurant is smaller than celebrity and more limited ...
We undertook a B2B cruise covering 21 days in South East Asia departing from Singapore.
This is our second Princess Cruise having cruised Diamond from Singapore to Tokyo in 2014, so we know Princess well and we love this part of the world. Sapphire Princess is almost identical to Diamond which gives a nice familiarity, but you do lose the experience of "exploring" a new ship
Our cruise ...
We are seasoned travelers and enjoyed our stay on Sapphire in Asia from Singapore back to Singapore 24 Feb to 7 March. Cabin steward was great and cleanliness great also throughout the chip. Meals were good not great but service at meals were usually great and special requests were usually satisfied.
Entertainment was good but the lateness at 8:15 and 10:15 was too late for us especially if ...
From the moment we set eyes on Sapphire Princess we new we would have a great time
Been 67 and 72 years old we coud not fault anything, The food was fantastic - the buffet great selection of foods - at night we chose to eat at Savoy and Santa Fe. Our favourite Santa Fe with waiters Antonio and Dwi made a great evenings dining. The entertainment very professional musicians- our cabin A340 ...
We'd been interested in cruising for a while and some friends recommended Princess for a quiet cruise with good food and not too many party animals! When this came up at a very good price for the 7 nights (Singapore-Ko Samui-Laem Chabang-Phu My-Singapore) I couldn't resist.
Overall, I was very impressed with the Sapphire Princess and her crew. Embarkation and disembarkation were easy and ...
Here my wife and I were in Singapore at the Marina Bay Cruise Center ready to embark on Sapphire Princess. The date was 7/2/2016 We are not brand new to cruising having cruised with Star Cruises (Virgo and Libra) around Asia on a number of occasions and Royal Caribbean (RC) (Explorer of the Seas) from Fremantle to Sydney via the South Island of New Zealand. We obviously still have a lot to learn. ...
