The trip itinerary and pace was wonderful. The daily excursions with knowledgeable local guides were educational and inspiring. The ships staff was friendly and always ready to serve us. The cruise was our second river cruise and booked last minute. We chose the Danube eastbound. This river cruise seemed an interesting option due to the variety of visits and activities on offer. Avalon also offered customers the option of making their own travel arrangements to get to the boat which was useful for the many thousands of us with vouchers.
