Cabin 6001...Most all of our cruises are HAL, as we are 3 star mariners. Since last cruising with HAL, the dining room food choices have decreased. The Lido deck is now serving passengers which is a great idea. You can now get your salad in a bowl. Our embarkation and disembarkation was without drama, especially since my husband was in a wheelchair. I really liked using the port valet ...

My cousins had never cruised, so we picked an itinerary they were excited about. Thus, we had the chance to see this cruise through the eyes of our cousins who came with us. We found many areas in need of improvement, especially communication. There was no apparent mechanism for hearing most announcements in the room. My cousin is hard of hearing and so felt he missed a lot of information. ...

We have always wanted to venture to Alaska, and the Inside Passage was truly amazing. So many islands, beautiful terrain. Lovely boat, overall, I must say. GREAT: America's Test Kitchen presentations were amazing. BB King club was also fantastic and fun! The best, however, was Fusion, the Quartet--such very talented musicians and just so entertaining. Erin was fantastic, and we ...

We did the Alaska route. The ship looked dated inside. We booked a Neptune Suite - and that included the use of the Neptune lounge and concierge for help on all dining reservations, excursions, questions etc. The staff and lounge were great! They always had breakfast, snacks and drinks available - this was great on embarkation and disembarkation day to avoid the crowds in the lido market. ...

Port of Seattle made it easy for the family. Good way to experience Alaska. Teen rooms were great for the teens (not 13 or 18 though). Lots of food choices and activities. Wish they had more yoga activities and smell in dining room was a bit strong. great to be able to order a limited selection of room service beware of buying packages. they told me as i was boarding the only way ...

Relaxing with needed improvements

This was the first time I was continually disoriented on the ship. The staff, cabin stewards and food servers were fabulous. The downside is the waiting in line for food and beverages. It wasn't until the 4th day that we had bread served in a basket at dinner along with butter, and we were able to get our own beverages in the buffet. Throughout the voyage the buffet was served cafeteria style ...

My spouse and I chose this cruise because of the promotion by Christian radio group WAYFm. For King and Country, Brandon Heath, Mark Lee of Third Day and Rebecca St. James were the featured artists, and they were superb. We arrived in Seattle a day ahead in part because we had never been and we wanted to allow for airline difficulties and bad weather. Neither were a factor, so we went to Pike ...

Good Average Cruise

Average cruise, smaller rooms than most cruises, good service, okay food, great entertainment, big outdoor pool (deep), smaller indoor pool (shallow), kind staff. Our TV circuit kept popping, so we did not have TV for the first 2 days, our sink would not turn off (plumber had to come and fix it), shower/tub would not drain. I traveled with my husband, my daughter (14), and my mother-in-law. Food ...

overcharging, hair in food, cabin under a storage room = no sleep

Previously had a terrific cruise on Ms Oosterdam from Australia to New Zealand and found the service, the food and the cabin wonderful. Two years later that has changed. Initially it was the cabin, on Deck 1 with a window to the outside.. Unfortunately it seems it was positioned under a restaurant storage room and every night, just as you want to go to sleep, heavy objects were dumped onto the ...

Most items associated with our cruise were wonderful. Our state room (verandah) was very nice and our room steward was great. The views were incredible and overall experience was good. There were however several concerning items. Our servers in the main dining were not at all interactive. I ordered iced tea to go with my dinner and it arrived shortly after my dessert (about 45 minutes after ...
