Glad to be back and will cruise again

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Celebrity Millennium

After two years of no sailing, we book the B2B Alaska cruise to kick start our cruising experience again. Alaska, what beautiful scenery, this was our fourth B2B for Alaska, it is a little earlier in the season then the previous cruises, but this was perfect as there were snow covered mountain tops which provided a completely different photo opportunity and visual experience. Embarkation and ...

Customer Service at Celebrity is non-existent and Costco is not much better.

I bought 4 tickets for a Celebrity Alaskan cruise and 2-day land tour through Costco because of their offer of coupons. I really question the savings there when I consider the amount of time to get through to Costco Travel, never mind Celebrity. I remember holding for a long time in August 2021 to book this cruise, but finally being satisfied with a pair of connecting rooms. This reservation was ...

Better options out there; ship showing its age

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Celebrity Millennium

We selected this cruise because we thought that Celebrity would have better food and accommodations as our previous experience had been favorable. The ship is old and even with a reduced guest total, the service was subpar for most of the time. You can get better values elsewhere. Cabin staff were on par with basic cruise lines. Dining room staff were okay, but recommended that we do the Tuscan ...

Covid Problems

We have travel on Celebrity for 24 years...3 times on the Millennium. Due to Covid and a new staff of workers, the Customer Service was awful. We couldn't get WI-FI to work consistently the TV had hardly any stations and it only worked when we were at sea.....2 movie channels, ESPN1 and 2 MSNBC, BBC, BBC1, Cartoons, RedBull channel, Fox news and CNN. The movies were terrible and old. The Ship ...

No STARS for the $$$ Royal Suite

Review for a Pacific Coastal Cruise on Celebrity Millennium

We paid a lot for this cruise expecting a truly great experience (Royal Suite). What we received was abysmal! Beginning with embarkation - we had to wait forever to get through the line (but should have been able to bypass it because we were 'suite' passengers. See below for ratings of our suite... The food in the designating dining room was good (Luminae) but the service was very, very slow. Food ...

Thank You Celebrity For The Memories!

We chose this cruise because we wanted to see the west coast of the U.S. and we are so glad we found this one from Celebrity. With ten nights and lots of time in each port we got a great introduction to so many places. Our 10 night San Diego to Vancouver cruise on Millennium was absolutely wonderful! We had a great time, made many new friends, enjoyed great food and got to see some top notch ...

First, My husband and I have taken 33 cruises in the last 17 years. So we did miss cruising. We chose an Alaskan cruise because we felt that Alaska wanted cruisers to return and would try to make sure the approved cruises did take place. We chose the Celebrity as we purchased it at a reduced price. We booked our flights through Celebrity, which to my surprise, saved us $300.00. We did fly ...

But then only 600 ppeople on the ship.Check in was a bit of a hassle. Had to show documents three times to three different people. But at least we made it.we Booked Aqua Blue. Enjoyed the cabin and the new shower door compared to Princess Shower curtains. Also remodel really has made the room very nice. The sofa was a plus, especially sine Princess has removed any seating in Balcony cabins below ...

Terrible customer service with Celebrity but crew wonderful

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Celebrity Millennium

Decided to go to Alaska since we live 3 hours from Seattle and never cruised there but have done over 20 cruises. Other than the covid test 2 days before the cruise, it was very easy to board. Ship had only 650 passengers and the crew was wonderful. Was cold/rain as expected for Alaska but enjoyed the 3 ports that we stopped - Ketchikan, Juneau & Icy Strait Pt. Everyone in Alaska was very ...

Alaska on the Millennium

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Celebrity Millennium

The ship holds 2218 passengers and we had only 639 or 29% occupancy. It was so nice to move about the ship at ease, almost never had to wait for anything. We dined in Blu, MDR, Tuscan Grill, La Petite Chef, and Ocean View Café (the buffet). 75% of the food was outstanding, 15% was good, 5% ok and 5% bad. We really didn't care for La Petite Chef, the show was interesting, but if you see it ...
