Sail Date: May 2022

We paid a lot for this cruise expecting a truly great experience (Royal Suite). What we received was abysmal! Beginning with embarkation - we had to wait forever to get through the line (but should have been able to bypass it because we were 'suite' passengers. See below for ratings of our suite... The food in the designating dining room was good (Luminae) but the service was very, very slow. Food in the specialty restaurants (and we tried every one of them) was just so-so. The best server we had was Kerby in the Tuscan Restaurant. The 'retreat lounge' was okay but the concierges there (Milca and Toni) were unresponsive, terse and impolite. They had 'canned answers for everything. Entertainment was fine and the theater space was comfortable. Fitness center was well equipped but some of the machines weren't working (and there was no signage). If I could give the cruise ZERO stars, I would do so. We'll never sail Celebrity again.

Cabin Review

HORRIBLE...our 'Royal Suite' was small, chopped up, with only two 110 volt outlets. Yet the hairdryer provided required a 110 outlet...hah! The shower in the bathroom had NO space to stand outside the shower because the toilet was right in front of the shower door. The veranda (though reasonable in size) provided NO privacy as every room above us had a clear view of our space. The inroom entertainment was very limited and technology woes plagued us the entire trip. No signal, no signal, no signal. The personal retreat host (Nicasio) was just too, too hovering and fussy and he didn't listen when we told him we don't drink alcohol but we do trink coffee. There was NO coffee maker in the room but in our prior cruise experiences $$$ suites such as these provided an espresso machine. What we got was a hot water pot and instant Nescafe!!! AUGH...For five days we endured freezing temps because the thermostat was broken. Our stateroom attendant (Maynard) was good.
