It’s true, the Infinity needs an overhaul but it still is a beautiful ship but the crew is what was most impressive. We were told it is going into dry dock in January for an overhaul.
We are long time cruisers and have been sailing with Celebrity since before they were purchased by RCCL, almost 30 years ago. We chose this itinerary because we hadn’t yet been to Croatia.

Like the old ships before the razzle dazzle and kid's clubs etc, just loved the understated old fashioned elegance, the crew was excellent and it wasn't crowded, I love this ship and liked it so much we booked it again for 2024. OK, I have read the previous reviews and yes this is a smaller, older ship that needs (and is scheduled for in 2024) refurbishment. As the cruise Director Dave noted "yes, we don't have all the bells and whistles of some of the newer ships, but we work hard to make up for it with excellent service and quality attention to detail". We choose this cruise strictly for the dates, and it was our first Celebrity cruise. We were pleasantly surprised by the elegance of the ship, the above average food offerings, the 5 star service, the cleanliness, the amazing crew, I could go one. We would repeat this cruise. This is our 4th cruise since Covid struck and the other 3 were with Royal Carribean and Holland America and we have seen the same issues with all of them...food not quite as good, not so many services, such as automatic twice a day cleaning of your room. I think we spoiled ourselves a little when we booked this cruise. I was concerned after reading many of the latest reviews of her but honestly we did not have the issues that mamy have complained about, but maybe we have different standards. 1. directions to the terminal are clear ( you can find out at the entrance of port everglades which terminal is infinity)(you will be stopped at the port entrance to check your id)
