I was a little apprehensive after reading some less than flattering reviews of the infinity, but after nine days aboard we were more than happy with our cruise. Have things changed since Covid ? Yes, but nothing to us to substantially change our view. In the main dining room the list of appetizers is mostly salads now and the bread basket is a lot more limited than it used to be (used to be overflowing with multiple choices, but now just one selection and a few breadsticks, but more can be requested as usual). But we still felt the main dining room offered a good selection of food of a very reasonable standard when catering for so many. The Buffet also had a vast selection of good quality options although the Asian section seemed to mostly be Indian curries rather than oriental dishes, although they were very nice regardless. We never struggled to find something nice to eat in the afternoon or evening and tables were always available.

The staff on board were exceptional in all venues and bars, always smiling and greeting you by name. I must say the bar staff at the pool bar were an absolute pleasure every day with Praveen being one of note amongst a great team. Greg serving drinks in the theatre was also most helpful and always had my drinks ready each evening.

Although some people commented on the general condition of the Infinity I must say she seemed in good overall shape to us and nothing unduly concerning. Our inside cabin was clean/, everything worked and was made up twice a day. For the limited amount of time we spent in the cabin an inside was an obvious choice and offered a substantial saving against a balcony.
