Carnival Sydney (Australia) Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Absolutely atrocious

Clearly below standards in food, service and pricing. Breakfast is the same each and every day with minimum options and extremely poor quality. Those serving at the buffet did not greet guests and had very tired, grouchy faces. The 24 hour pizza stand contained 2 workers, workers who were extremely overworked and resulted in customers waiting 30-40 minutes for just a pizza. The tv's in cabin rooms ...

Planned a family cruise to pacific on Carnival legend - the FUN ship for families. Cruise was ruined by discourteous restaurant staff who took it upon themselves to discriminate on dress standards of passengers according to their personal whims. I never returned to restaurant for remainder of cruise (for four days) because of this. Planned family dinners were ruined because of their ...

Food was always cold and very limited seating....very poor....the noise from the band was horrible...when we complained we go offered ear plugs and told to suck it up Victoria beer was $8.25 a 375 ml can If you want to be ripped off and treated like a dog then this is the cruise for you! And the last night we got charged $26 Aus for a towel we didn't return...we never even used the ...

We thought it would be a nice change from our usual Princess cruises to go on another cruise line. From check in to leaving it was one big horror trip. Our bags were riffled through before delivery to our room. Some things were stolen out of it too. It took us from the first day to the very last day (embarkation) trying to get an answer as to who did the theft, why nothing was done and why we were ...

The room service was very good. Ketut our room stuard was fantastic he was extremely nice and very helpful. The on board experience is marketed as a "Relaxing Family Holiday", this is a total lie. My Wife and I along with our two children and two other family members spent around $9000 for this so called "Relaxing Family Holiday" and when onboard spent more time being spoken to rudely by Staff ...

I thought I would give travelling via cruise ship a try after a recommendation from a work colleague and the fact I was taking my son and partner with me. Normally I prefer to fly to a destination or several destinations and spend several days at each and have the freedom to explore or relax, try local cuisines and maybe some locally operated tours and entertainment. I understand some people ...

The cabin we were assigned was on the 8th floor right below the buffet dining area and access to the pool area. At 3am the food trollies would roll over the tiles, and then the noise would start. There would have been 75% children on board and numerous parents who were happy to let the rug rats run wild and I mean wild. They would jump from the stairs landing to the floor below which of coarse was ...

Arrived on our boat and went to our room at the back of the ship and couldn't believe the size of our room and the huge 6 metre balcony. Looked for 1 of our suitcases that was not at the door so I asked the staff were it was cause it had my wifes medication in in the case......3 pm 4pm 5 pm 6 pm still had not arrived asked the staff each of those times above and they said it will be there soon. ...

Thought a short cruise to Tassie and back might be a nice break for 3 fun loving cruisers. How wrong. The ship was full of grog swilling bogans. Dress codes in the dining areas meant nothing to them. The fault is the lack of control by the crew. Why, on formal nights, are people permitted in the dining areas wearing shorts, sleeveless shirts, thongs and baseball caps? Even in the casino you could ...
