The staff was friendly and very accommodating. Our tour director was enthusiastic and friendly. Our room was sparkling clean each day. Internet was free and available mostly with urban areas. A perfect blend of quaint villages along the Moselle with larger cities like Düsseldorf and Koblenz. We loved the variety of excursions and it was hard to choose between wine tastings and castle tours. We enjoyed the Scenic exclusive tours of the Rastatt palace concert and Hockenheimer F1 insider. We have been on 12 ocean cruises and wanted to try a river cruise after hearing good things from friends. This was a much more intimate cruise with only 185 passengers. We decided to do a Viking River Cruise because we wanted to see several countries on one trip with only unpacking once and not having to coordinate driving and the logistics of hotels and where to go. Viking did not disappoint. A once in a lifetime trip. We were able to go to so many places we would have never have gone to. It was so easy to unpack and relax!
