This was our first cruise on Viking. We have sailed in the past on many a other cruise line but after sailing on Viking this summer I can definitely say that Viking sets the standard by which all cruise lines should be judged. The amenities, gourmet food, attention to detail, knowledgeable staff, and wonderful land excursions make a Viking cruise a most enjoyable experience. I was singularly impressed not just by the cruise itself but the attention to detail that was given by the Viking staff on booking the cruise and trying to book us on a cruise that was best for our needs. And of course we were most impressed that Viking offered round trip air fare from our home city of St. Louis, Missouri. Viking booked the flights and took care of all the transportation logistics. Whenever I called the Viking booking office they were always very pleasant and eager to answer all our questions. We truly felt like a very valued customer. We look forward to more river cruises and your ocean voyages as well.
