Great Time in the Haven on a Full Ship!

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Norwegian Getaway

We are a family of 3 (41, 39 and 7). My husband and son get bored on the all-inclusive vacations I love, so we thought we'd try the haven "ship within a ship" concept with NCL. In short, we loved it and have already booked our next trip. The Great: The haven facilities, staff, food and beverages were fantastic. We ate nearly every meal at the Haven restaurant and found it to be far better ...

We went on this cruise because it was going to stop in Florida for a day and a half so My Wife could see her Sister. Well we were supposed to get in Port Canaveral by 1pm didn't get there until 10pm. So those plans got ruined. Next we went to their island in the Bahamas. We were supposed to to Bermuda from there and that got screwed over some excuse. There idea was to go to Nassau for the day. Ha! ...

Have sailed on NCL on 3 occasions and 2 other cruise lines as well. Had minor issues on previous cruises but nothing worth a negative review and had enjoyable experiences. This current one was terrible, from the food to thedelays and the confusion on board. You can tell the ship was way understaffed and the crew was exhausted trying to keep up with their responsibilities. But they still did their ...

Great Cruise, Just Not Long Enough!

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Liberty of the Seas

We chose this particular cruise mainly because everyone in our group of 8 was able to get the time off to go. Our reason for going was for an early celebration of our dad's upcoming 90th birthday. Our group consisted of my wife and I, my brother, my dad, my youngest son and his wife and my daughter and her husband. Oldest in the group was 89; youngest was 33. Three of us have cruised on ...

Food was cheap, very little selections, I was disappointed every dinner. Late night options even worse. Events were also limited. Very little going on during this cruise. Staff was hit or miss in terms of being accommodating. Many did not seem in happy mood. Only positive thing I can add is the customer service pre-cruise. When asked for our cabin to be next to our friends cabin, they ...

Magical and Amazing

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Disney Dream

Disney magic at it's best. From the activities to the live shows to the food, it's wonderful. The staff is SO GOOD especially the servers who are with you at each night at the restaurant you are at. Disney music is always playing wherever you go as well. Fun destinations like Castaway Cay. I enjoyed getting to know the other people on the cruise in the different clubs. Playing basketball with ...

Not truly paradise; Dated, tired ship

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Paradise

The good: Crew was excellent on this ship. All were friendly and professional. None of what I’m about to say is their fault. The Carnival check in process is much better than it used to be pre-COVID. The Carnival Hub is an excellent tool for planning your days. The bad: the internet for $110 (5 night cruise) simply stinks. It’s 2023. There has to be a faster internet than you can get here. ...

Overall decline in service and food

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Liberty

1. The Port Canaveral personnel do an excellent job of checking in and boarding the ship. 2. The food in the main dining room has declined substantially. Portions are small and two of the nights the meal was inedible. Very poor quality. The waiters did a good job, but not as professional as previously. The pizza and Guys burgers were both very good. The deli sandwiches were mediocre. ...

Good 5 day cruise

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Elation

I’ve done 20+ on carnival. I chose this cruise out of Jacksonville because it was reasonably close and cheap. No way would I do this cruise if I didn’t cruise several times last year. I was very surprised and delighted how it has been refurbished. Everything is very clean and painted, with little rust. Bedside charging outlets are new. Huge flat screen. The crew was superb. The ...
