Review for a Alaska Cruise on Carnival Legend

Really enjoyed our stay on the Legend. Staff was amazing, really appreciate all the hard working people. She's an older ship but met all our needs. Couldn't believe the space in the bathroom, best on any cruise to date. I had no problem with the decor as I've read in other reviews. Great food and drinks - dining room was great, happy with the offering on the buffet, wish chopsticks was ...

Relaxing at sea enroute to Hawaii

Review for a Hawaii Cruise on Westerdam

We enjoyed this 18 day cruise to Hawaii and back, the longest cruise we've taken. There were five sea days in each direction, a great time to relax and explore the ship. Our veranda cabin was spacious with plenty of storage and a good size bathroom with a bathtub and shower. Our room stewards kept it clean and supplied with plenty of big towels and ice. All the staff we encountered were smiling ...

Cool Cruise! Thanks NCL for the GREAT weather on the whole 12 day re-positioning cruise! Our 13th cruise and we're Platinum Club Members now. We received lots of goodies in our cabin almost every night. Noel, our Cabin Steward, was probably the best we ever had...Johnny-On-The-Spot with any request. Our Wine Steward, Juvy, became good friends with us , since this is the 3rd cruise we've been on ...

Family of 2 adults, 6 year old and 1 10 month old sailed the 5 day Vancouver to LA in a 2 br suite 11506. Fantastic experience from start to finish. Embarkation and disembarkation was always very easy. Cabin was in reat shape and is just the perfect set up for a family. As others have noted a little noise in this cabin around 4 or 5 am from scraping chairs on the above deck. I only noticed it if ...

My husband and I cruised on the 10 day Alaskan cruise on the jewel last year. This year we chose to fly into Seattle and spend some time then take the Amtrak to Vancouver where we spent 4 days then board the Jewel to cruise back home to LA. We love the Jewel which is why we chose to cruise on it again. First of all I'd like to say that I think many people have super high expectations from their ...

Review for a Pacific Coastal Cruise on Norwegian Pearl

My husband and I decided that for our yearly "Mom and Dad need alone time" trip, we would go on a short cruise WITHOUT the kids (for once). We flew into Vancouver, and stayed at the Pan Pacific Hotel, which was right on top of the pier. We stayed on the club floor, and it was lovely. Boarding the Pearl was a little bit rough, as there were 3 ships leaving that day, and ours was the only one ...

Great Birthday Present!

My husband chose this cruise as a gift for my birthday. I had previously enjoyed travel on the Holland America Line ships and others had good things to say about HAL. It was his first ocean cruise. There was plenty to do. We really enjoyed the lectures and the concerts and the exercise facilities, including the Promenade Deck for walking. Jay Christofferson was an excellent presenter. My ...

Cruising to New Zealand was number one on the list and the words of my wise Mother before she passed away, "Do it sooner rather than later!" Prompted us to book. We had only every taken one other cruise and that was on the Zuiderdam in the Caribbean. Since the Noordam and Zuiderdam are sister ships we pretty knew what to expect as far as the layout and age of the ship. Although many more ...

Excellent Holland America Cruise - Good Value on Classic 'Ocean Liner'

Review for a Hawaii Cruise on Noordam

Like uncrowded, mid-sized, cruise ships that visually, look like classic 'Ocean Liners'...not amusement parks. Don't wish to spend my vacation lining up with 4000 other passengers for dinner or shows....on some of the huge cruise ships being launched now-a-days. Enjoy more sophisticated crowd on Holland America...less 'Booze Cruise'...with cultured Guest Speakers and Seminars. Prefer ...
