The cruise was very disappointing. The entertainment was directed at the older passengers and nothing really available if under 60.
No theme night, no white wine onboard as the ship is heading to Asia so they used what was onboard.
Outbreak of respiratory condition onboard no extra precautions brought out until the last afternoon when it was too late.

There is a bit to like on the Majestic. Being fairly new it is quite tidy and presents reasonably well on board. There are quite a few good spaces on board, a bit of flair here and there, but overall with 3,500 to 4,000 passengers on board its all a bit of a mess. We booked 2 years ago and have been used to the Diamond and Golden Princess size ships. We didn't find it too big to walk around but we felt that the public rooms had been enlarged a little but too many people crowded into them causing congestion and a lot of noise. Take a lot of money. Yes, its expensive in Australia, but the expenses on the ship keep on mounting. A glass of wine $14.00.Cosmopolitan $16.00. They have taken away the 2 for 1 cocktail hour. The cost of the shore excursions is just plain ridiculous. Two ports we were in, we had to pay for a shuttle to town.

I have never cruised before so I really did not know what to expect. But I must say I was bitterly disappointed. The entertainment I feel was really for people in walkers. It was the battle of the walking frames and go go mobiles.
Staff were fantastic, cabin was lovely. I probably would not recommend this cruise to anyone under the age of 80.
