  3. Majestic Princess
Having sailed with Princess on other occasions, we found them to be all that we expected. As soon as we heard the brand new Majestic Princess was coming to Australia, we immediately booked to go on the first cruise out of Sydney. In a nutshell the ship is big, new and shiny. The crew are fantastic, food in the Buffet ( they call it the Market Place) was okay, but we have had better on other Princess Cruises. The food in the Dining Room was very good as were the waiting staff.. Here's the crunch, The ship is big damn big, we found the balcony cabins to be smaller that on other Princess Ships. They have squeezed in more cabins (more passengers) but have failed to provide sufficient lifts to move the high number of passengers up and down the additional decks. This ship had the feel of a live sheep export ship. Crowds at the lifts were a joke. It was said that the Majestic Princess was built for the "Chinese Market". As far as we are concerned they should have kept this ship in China. In the long term this ship will not be well received in the Australian market.
