Really BAD Food, NCL Theme is “SELL, SELL, SELL”

Review for a Pacific Coastal Cruise on Norwegian Jewel

Think about the food this way: You will enjoy it if you liked what they served in your high school cafeteria! We did not enjoy the specialty restaurants either (we did Le Bistro and the “Brazilian Steakhouse”). The main dining room was only OK on a couple of nights. The Chin-Chin restaurant was horrible. Not a shrimp to be found on this ship. Smoked salmon? An extinct species. ...

We have travel on Celebrity for 24 years...3 times on the Millennium. Due to Covid and a new staff of workers, the Customer Service was awful. We couldn't get WI-FI to work consistently the TV had hardly any stations and it only worked when we were at sea.....2 movie channels, ESPN1 and 2 MSNBC, BBC, BBC1, Cartoons, RedBull channel, Fox news and CNN. The movies were terrible and old. The Ship ...

No STARS for the $$$ Royal Suite

Review for a Pacific Coastal Cruise on Celebrity Millennium

We paid a lot for this cruise expecting a truly great experience (Royal Suite). What we received was abysmal! Beginning with embarkation - we had to wait forever to get through the line (but should have been able to bypass it because we were 'suite' passengers. See below for ratings of our suite... The food in the designating dining room was good (Luminae) but the service was very, very slow. Food ...

We chose this cruise because we wanted to see the west coast of the U.S. and we are so glad we found this one from Celebrity. With ten nights and lots of time in each port we got a great introduction to so many places. Our 10 night San Diego to Vancouver cruise on Millennium was absolutely wonderful! We had a great time, made many new friends, enjoyed great food and got to see some top notch ...

First cruise back since January 2020. Only 705 passengers. We splurged and tried Aqua class for the first time and LOVED Blu. The crew was outstanding and everyone was always smiling and greeting you. They were happy to be back at work and we were their happy guests. All the food on Oceanview is plated by the servers. I saw zero instances of anyone attempting self-serve. We particularly ...

We booked this a few months ago after reading how it was going COVID-wise on cruise ships. Cruise was so good that we booked a B2B and got a certificate for another. We were in Aqua cabin 9112. Please feel free to ask questions. - COVOD Testing. Flying to San Diego from Florida a few days early meant we needed to do the tests away from home. We purchased three of the Celebrity recommended ...

The itinerary of the cruise up the pacific coast to Vancouver was exactly what we wanted and in spite of a disaster on another cruise on the sister ship (Summit) we booked. From the embarkation at the port of San Diego, which was almost like a third world country port, to the embarkation in Vancouver was a tribute to total ineptitude. We had a dining room table for 11 but from the first night ...

An Overall Solid (Repositioning) Cruise San Diego to Vancouver.

Overall solid cruise. Friendly staff. Luigi (Cruise Director) Lauren and Chico (Activities) were all great and extremely personable. Dining room was great — I tried a lot of the fish, lamb, pork. Didn’t go for any of the up-charge dining rooms, although they pushed them a lot. Dining staff worked their tails off as usual to accommodate people. Ship is easy to navigate -- it's a good size, ...

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary, we had never visited any of these ports before and were looking forward to new places to see. After a long 10.5 hr flight we cleared US customs in record time and as we had booked the Celebrity package were taken to our hotel. As scheduled we were collected from our hotel and transferred to the port again this was part of our package. we then had to ...

Great Itinerary, Ship and Service

Review for a Pacific Coastal Cruise on Celebrity Infinity

We picked this cruise for 2 reasons. First, we really enjoyed our first Celebrity Cruise on the Solstice (Alaska-Tracy Arm Fjord) in 2017, after 4 prior cruises on different lines. Second, we liked the itinerary with 10 nights and only 2 days at sea. Ship: We were apprehensive that this older Infinity might be disappointing. However, we found this "Solsticized" ship to actually be nicer ...
