Overall we had a great time, first TA and won't be the last.
PROS:
- Newish ship, modern, beautiful common areas and spaces. 4200 passengers, so felt crowded but never had a problem getting a lounge chair by the pool, table at Windjammer or table at main dinning room.
- Crew: probably the best we had in all of our cruises, friendly, attentive and just have to ask once for "special ...
There are plenty of activities for your family. Water sports, zip line, Court games, walking track, kids zone, etc. Do not miss any of the shows because they are all spectacular. Especially Hiro, so many talented people. The ship is like a world of us all. It’s almost like a little city in itself. Our favorite spot was Central Park. Second to that would be the solarium. It was always peaceful and ...
This is my first cruise since the pandemic. This is also my first European cruise and my 8th cruise. I stayed in Barcelona for 4 days before the cruise and loved the city so much. Embarkation was a breeze, even easier than in Florida. First day was so busy but managed to get my early dinner sorted out. The dining room staff was very kind and helpful. I enjoyed the food in the dining room ...
Where do I start? This was our first ever cruise. We decided to push the boat out and book a 2 Bedroom Grand Suite for a week. Worked out at €14,000 including gratuities so not cheap. We enjoyed it, but learned some lessons along the way. Would we go again? Probably.
The Mediterranean isn’t the best destination in the world for a ship like Symphony because the ports are miles away from the ...
Originally, I chose this cruise because it was on the Brilliance OTS and had a golf course and a solarium pool with steps leading into it as my wife has a bad right arm and is waiting for a operation so being moved to the Enchantment meant no golf and not being able to get in the pool, so she was a bit upset but not the worst thing that could happen.
As it happens, and these events are no fault ...
I didn’t fancy going on a cruise but my husband did, so gave it a try. The stateroom was spacious, the room attendant couldn’t do enough for you. Food was great with a good choice, we ate in the main dining room every night but tried windjammer, El Loco Fresh Mexican restaurant, Cafe Promenade and solarium bistro for snacks or lunch with good selection, also ice cream kiosks. We are not big ...
My wife and I just returned from a week long cruise on the Symphony of the Seas out of Barcelona. We stayed in the 1 bedroom Aqua Suite (Sky class suite), my thoughts are detailed below:
Embarkation - absolutely amazing. Perhaps it was because we were in Suite Class or maybe RC has just really improved this since I first cruised with them, but we go onto the ship in about 5 minutes after ...
I chose it for the variety of ports, and we wanted to see St Peter's basilica in Rome. Unfortunatly my husband hurt his bag pushing luggage, so we took it easy. I did the Royal Up and won the bid for an Owners Suite...lovely with nice perks to go along with it. Our stateroom attendant, Claude, was very nice, and did a great job. Always a smiling hello from him. He kept ice water in our ice ...
Travelling with two older teenagers activities were a priority for us. AotS did not disappoint - bumper cars, rock climbing wall, iFly, roller skating, North Star (observation cabin) and Flow rider - these made the cruise a success.
Food was Ok but not great - we paid for the dining package - and just about broke even, dining six out of the seven days in specialty restaurants. Of the ...
Hello everyone!
From a long-time lurker too shy to put myself out there I have finally decided to give it a go and post a little review of our recent Med cruise onboard Wonder of the Seas (my 12th RCCL cruise - for those who are interested I have sailed on Mariner, Freedom, Navigator, Explorer, Harmony, Independence, Anthem, Jewel, Rhapsody, Brilliance, Symphony and now Wonder).
Rather ...
