My wife and I just returned from a week long cruise on the Symphony of the Seas out of Barcelona. We stayed in the 1 bedroom Aqua Suite (Sky class suite), my thoughts are detailed below:

Embarkation - absolutely amazing. Perhaps it was because we were in Suite Class or maybe RC has just really improved this since I first cruised with them, but we go onto the ship in about 5 minutes after arriving at the port.

Ship design - the ship is beautiful, but the design is very similar to most other RC ships, with a Boardwalk and a Central Park. Not really a complaint, but the layout is pretty standard. Some new features, such as the water slide, we did not try. We did go on the Ultimate Abyss, which is a 9 story slide that was a lot of fun. You get some serious speed on that slide.

Cabin Review

Room - let me start with the one complaint I had: the bathroom and the shower, are way too small. I am a 6'4" guy and even placing the shower head nozzle at the highest level I still had to duck to wash my hair. And the tub is so narrow, I could not fit without hitting the glass partition. That aside, the room was incredible. We loved having the wraparound deck. Watching the aqua shows from our deck was a real treat. The room was large and very comfortable and the bed were divine.
