When Cruise Ships Stop Listening to the Passengers

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Explorer of the Seas

My wife and I have sailed on the Explorer of the Seas for multiple cruises and had high expectations for the 4 B2B Odyssey cruise that was offered from Sydney to Southampton, UK from March 29th to May 7th. Those expectations have not been achieved. Due to a high number of older and more experienced cruisers, who are apparently much more tight with the pocketbook, we have had many of the venues we ...

A small cruise in the middle of our holiday on the Voager of the Seas seemed just right having taken this cruise before. We booked a suite and we were excited to see what we would have included as it's always a jump from balcony to suites. The answer is nada nothing zilch, asking someone on the concierge desk they said you get double points, I said I would sleep better for knowing that and slinked ...

Unfortunately this ship does not live up to the standards of other Royal Caribbean ships! They even ran out of pool towels on a port day! So many disappointing elements including standard of service received from stateroom attendant and main dining restaurant staff. The offerings received from the Crown and Anchor Society were not to the same standard as on other ships. Normally when we ...

I seldom want to write such disappointing review but this time is really the worst trip i have in my life. We went onboard on 23rd to 26th Nov 2018 to Port Klang. The 1st things we saw on board at the front desk is a blonde guy holding to a sign and it Indicate. Extremely dissatisfied customer. I laugh when i saw him but now I'm also 1 of them.......That day i should have join ...

Terrible room and no consideration of complaints

We chose this cruise as it was part of a package through eCruising and it sailed into Sydney from Singapore. From the beginning of the cruise tthings did not go well. The organisation (transfers) to the port were poorly organised. This is not Royal Caribbean’s fault but Ecruising’s . We waited at a very crowded port with no drinks, food and inadequate seating for several hours and were not ...

Royal Caribbean – Voyager of the Seas, what can I say. Our room was dirty, but that is surely not the fault of the staff as I think that their time is limited as to how much they spend on each room. Maybe 5 minutes. Tired, out dated, heaps of rust in areas on the balcony. Needed to use the toilet brush at one stage and on giving the toilet a thorough clean, it was sickening the amount of ...

We went for this ship because of the advertising and the promises for the sail of a lifetime, Instead we experienced the worst cruise ever, 3 hours in Beijing lined up to board ship, booked a Junior Suite and unlike other ships it counted for no privileges at all even though it was advertised that suites would have there own speciality dining room when we asked why we couldn't make a ...

I chose this cruise as i wanted to tour the Philippines but after paying the initial deposit the cruise changed its itinerary to Vietnam instead and I couldn’t opt out. Having been on an earlier RCL cruise, the Legend of the Seas, I was really looking forward to RCL’s excellent level of service and care that I had come to expect – but sadly, it was a complete let down literally like chalk and ...
