Just got home from our cruise on the Dawn out of Tampa. I have to say that I was really disappointed in our cruise this time. I am a dedicated NCL cruiser but I have to say this cruise was a big let down. We have been on the Dawn before, as a matter of fact we did the the same ports on the Dawn, but nothing like this.

With the Beverage package, 3 free specialty restaurants, internet minutes and discount of $ 50 on the excursions included in the price of this cruise it did not feel like we were nickeled and dimed to death! This really helped make our cruise more inclusive and frankly less stressful not worrying if we were spending too much at the lounges.

I am a BIG NCL fan. I love the service and the friendliness of the crew. I believe Norwegian has the friendliest crew at sea. Same could be said for the hard working men and women on the Dawn, but the Officers are not as friendly as they are on the Escape #1 and the Getaway coming in at #2 (so take a lesson Dawn officers).

We sailed on NCL because of the Harrah's Casino At Sea Program, otherwise we might have picked another cruise line. Overall the quality of this cruise was only average and NCL in general has declined. From the beginning, when I made the reservation, there was miscommunication. After only about a month, I could not reach the Norwegian travel agent that I had booked with.
