Chose this itinerary based on only 14 day out of NOLA. Do not enjoy Jamaica anymore but wanted to experience Panama Canal and Limon Costa Rica. Really enjoy Bonaire as we love to snorkel at Klein Bonaire. We also became Platinum on Carnival this cruise and we’re eager to see what perks this would bring.

The 14 day journey cruise on the Glory was overall memorable. Embarkation was great as soon as we got to the port and went thru security we were on the ship. Got to New Orleans port at 9:30, they didn’t start letting guests start checking in with cruise staff til 10. I believe we were on the ship by 11:30 (we are not diamond club, just first time on royal).
If you want to carry your baggage off yourself at end of cruise in self-assist, we were getting off the ship at around 7:17 a.m., through customs and out of terminal just after 7:30. Back to car ...

Just finished a 10 day cruise the Carribean with stops in Honduras, Belize etc.
The food was great. We especially enjoyed the restaurants. All we visited were excellent.
The smoke smell around the gaming area was awful.

It was a good price for a 10 day cruise and I thought I'd give the big ships a try. I had only had one other "big ship" cruise on the Epic that was terrible.

Some specialty dining was included in the package we got and that was very good. The regular dining rooms were inconsistent - some pretty good meals and some not very good meals. This was our 4th cruise with NCL and this ship and overall experience was mediocre. Crowding everywhere. Quality of Freestyle dining was poor. Staff were not as friendly as our previous NCL cruises. We will consider cruising NCL again but most likely not this ship. We are hoping that this is not an overall trend throughout NCL.
