I booked this shorter Med cruise, to check if standards and general improvement where high on MSC wish list, to my dismay they were not. After a shambolic trip on the MSC Opera from Abu Dhabi to Genoa in may 2023, I tested the so called high calibre of service and quality which the company was aiming for, unfortunately all fallen by the wayside.

I give my thoughts as this is my 20th + cruise and have traveled with several lines. I chose this cruise as it should be 21 days of what I had hoped would be getting to know other guests and chat. I choose this cruise because it was affordable but the food wasn't impressive nor was the service at the Wave Restaurant.
I did enjoy the entertainment which was great!
However when you cruise the highlight is alway the quality of your food. I did book one of the specialty restaurants which was hibachi style that was quite tasty & entertaining as well.

We tried an MSC Cruise from Rome after getting a great deal on a black Friday sale. I am glad we didn't pay a ton for the cruise. It came with included WIFI that worked really well. Also a drink package which was great. The ports were all ones we enjoyed and had looked forward to them.

I chose this cruise for good value and newer and bigger ship. The ship is truly beautiful.
1. Dining room food was good, service was excellent, ambience was wonderful.
