I had never sailed on Celebrity. 4 previous on Norwegian. That was my comparison and Eclipse was a bit of a disappointment with a 5.5 rating on Vacations to Go.
Pros: the crew tried very hard and were friendly and courteous always. Not sure how happy or cohesive they were.

I had no intent of booking this cruise which sailed roundtrip from San Pedro (LA) to San Francisco to San Diego to Ensenada and then back to San Pedro. the service is poor, the food is below bad and tasteless, activities are boring, shows are like 5th grade talent shows, they nickle and dime you for everything and now they are charging extra if the dining areas if you want steak or lobster or if you ask for seconds!.
