I had no intent of booking this cruise which sailed roundtrip from San Pedro (LA) to San Francisco to San Diego to Ensenada and then back to San Pedro. But when it was announced about five weeks before sailing that it would be branded as being a "Magic Castle" cruise, I jumped at it. Fortunately there were still enough staterooms (and good ones at that) to make it that much more attractive. The price was also alright for it ... a Balcony stateroom on the Port Side of the ship and at one of the higher levels.

Check in was rather Princess-typical and we were not able to do it at a Magic Castle check in desk as I thought was going to be provided. But no biggie.

Our Stateroom was already ready even though we arrived at the start of check in. And its features are far more updated than the older Princess ships. All of the facilities (especially bathrooms, even in the public areas were all updated and SPOTLESS all of the time!).

Outstanding and with the same level of Steward attention you've come to expect from Princess!
