When we booked our cruise we were assigned a cabin on the ninth deck. We received an email about bidding on an upgrade. So I decided that I would put in a very low bid and see what happened. I traveled with my husband and daughters. My husband and I had a Penthouse suite aft, and our daughters had a balcony room. Our suite was fantastic! Our butler, Ray, was the best!! Booked this cruise last minute, traveling solo ~ Great price, great cabin! I've been in every category up to The Owner's Suite and Penthouse on previous cruises and this inside guarantee worked just fine for me especially since you can no longer smoke on your balcony. Bayonne - a breeze!!!!
We had a very relaxing time - adult pool area is made for relaxing, soaking, peace.
We wish we could have used our balcony more - but all the smokers ruined it. Even though there is no smoking on the balconies - they were full of smokers that ruined the use of he balcony for us - disgusting.

Great cruise for the money. Only bad thing to say about Port Liberty is having to pay for parking. We never had to pay for parking for a cruise port. We loved the 10 day cruise and the ports that we sailed to. Each excursion was terrific and Labadee was a great time! The food was fantastic and the service was on point. We thoroughly enjoyed 270 for lunch/brunch, as well as, going to the solarium for breakfast.

We were happy with this cruise as the Anthem of the Seas is a very neat ship. The entertainment in the evening was always good. We were able to work out our eating schedule to an earlier time than we had originally been given. It was clean and the people that cared for us were very appropriate.
