This was the last part of a package we had booked which started with time in Canada at Niagara Falls, followed by Amtrak to New York and 3 nights there before boarding Breakaway. The boarding experience was the best we have ever experienced from arriving at the port within 20 minutes we were onboard. We liked the ship being only three years old it still has a fresh feeling about it. Our balcony ...

NCL Breakaway after Thanksgiving

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Norwegian Breakaway

We sailed after the sailing of Thanksgiving, it was a bit hectic at the terminal, but after checking in we got right onto the ship to get lunch at the buffet. Food was ok at the buffet, Moderne was excellent. If you don't have the drink package, the price of the drinks are way too expensive. A 15 $ cocktail is way to much for me. O'sheehan was alway full, Asian Noodle Bar also. We got to ...

This was a nightmare. The staff was so rude I was totally shocked. Not a smile or a hello from hardly anyone. The acted like we were an inconvenience to them. Try to get a drink at the bar and you will be ignored unless you tip. There is already a tip of 1.25 included in the price of each 9.00 beer. 9.00 for a domestic beer, what a joke! Oh and 7.00 for water. Are you kidding me? I waited over 20 ...

Breakaway..Again!

Sailed this ship/ itinerary several times. Loyal NCL cruiser and time and price were right. Best and fastest embarkation and disembarkation ever! They've finally added some new entertainment; magician and changed out Second City for Levity. Was it crowded? Sometimes at some venues. With that many passengers you need to adjust your dining times so everyone is not at the buffet or main dining ...

I'm sure that there are many cruise lines that are willing to offer more at a little higher rate. For a first timer this was an opportunity to get my "feet wet". The value was good for the services received. The breakaway was clean. The cabin was clean and all surrounding public area such a bathrooms, stairs, hallways etc. The vocal entertainment was spot on. The bar tendering staff on decks ...

Overall, very good. Cruise director staff has gone very generic on all the NCL ships, not what it was 7 or 8 years ago. The new cruise deposit program isn't great. You have to buy 2 or more deposits, but can use only one when booking within 6 months, 2 if balcony or above greater than 6 months out. First cruise in years we didn't purchase a deposit. Ports were ok, Cocoa Beach, Great Stirrup, and ...

The ship is beautiful, so clean and well attended to. All the staff were so polite and friendly. Efficient at their jobs. The people we met were happy so they too were very friendly! We dined in most of the areas and found the food to be very fresh and excellently prepared! We loved that there were family and adult areas! Even if we grabbed a plate from the Garden Family area, we were able ...

This was my second cruise with Norwegian and both experiences were excellent. This second time around I went SOLO on the Breakaway to the Bahamas and had a great time. The cabin I stayed in was Ocean View and totally worth it! The staff on the ship worked hard and were friendly at all times. The food was good. I was satisfied with the complimentary dining offered on board. The theater shows ...

This is the first and last time i will ever go on this ship, everything that i was told about it was not true. I even almost got killed by one of their employees who opened a door when i was looking at the art display pushing with such a force that i fell. She looked did not apologize and said i should not have stand their. Now why would you put art work to see by the open door and this woman ...
