"My solution: you can a) line up waaaaay earlier than you think for the tender tickets (think 90 minutes ahead of time) b) just plan for a later disembarkation time and adjust your plans accordingly to avoid the chaos c) buy a priority access pass to ensure that you can always leave on the earliest tender d) book an NCL excursion to get a tender spot

We choose this cruise to visit as many places possible in Greece. Having the opportunity to visit, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro and Turkey were a bonus for us.

Embarkation in Istanbul was long with a lot of waiting in line. I wish that had gone faster.

This was suppose to be a celebration trip for us but it was anything but that. After turkish air lost my wife luggage we boarded the ship without hers. Dealing with guest services to retrieve the bag after it showed up in instanbul was a joke to say the least.
