Still Dreaming

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Dream

I am a firm believer that there can't ever be a bad cruise, and this trip validated that belief. I will try to walk you through my entire experience onboard from beginning to end. Prior to arriving at the pier, we stayed at the Radisson at the Port Resort. We bought the park and cruise package and it was a little crazy trying to get to the ship. Since there were three ships leaving Port Canaveral ...

Enjoyed another successful Carnival Cruise, this time on the DREAM. The ocean view cabin was spacious and very nice but I am not used to being on the 2nd DECK and at the very back of the ship! The motors are very loud when entering into or leaving a port! Food was decent,, best side dish, the Potato Salad,, FRESH DAILY. Had a visit to the CHEF'S STEAK HOUSE @ $35 per person,, WORTH EVERY DOLLAR!! ...

We sailed on the August 3 sailing of the Carnival Dream to the Western Caribbean. We parked at an off site parking at Port Canaveral and the process went smoothly. It was Park, Cruise and I would recommend them. They were cheap and efficient. WE got to the port and entered quickly and had very little waiting in line to get on the ship. I really don't know what has happened to Carnival. We (my ...

We had an awsome trip. A total of 8 family members were on this trip and we flew into Orlando the day before from California. Used "Sunny's Transportaion " to get to Port Canaveral Hotels and to return to the airport at the end of our trip. It was $255.00 r/t for the 8 of us. We took the shuttle from the Hampton Inn to the port on Saturday. We were on the ship in less than 45 minutes. Room was ...

Let me start by stating I am 23 years old and this was my 11th cruise. (5 on RCCL, 5 on CCL, and 1 on Disney) When booking this cruise I read reviews and realized they were mixed. I then asked a few friends who have done this ship before and they told me to save my money and not to do it. Well I didn't listen to them and after I booked I had huge buyers remorse. Well for all of you who felt or ...

We have cruised Carnival a few times and have always had a great time. Had a great time on the Dream as well but noticed a few changes. The ship itself is awesome!! Food was very good and if you cant find SOMETHING to eat that you like, its YOUR problem, not Carnivals. There are so many options available. Our dining staff was excellent and the Head Maitre d Shane was AWESOME!! He was so funny and ...

This was my family's first Carnival Cruise. So even though I booked less than a month ahead, I found the CC forum through Trip Advisor and started doing extensive research making sure I'd get the full picture on what to expect from the Dream. I must say I was pleasantly surprised at the awesome customer service and the luxurious feel of many areas of the ship. I'd be head over heels for Carnival ...

This was our first cruise and we learned a lot, the ship was magnificent, wall to wall people and wall to wall food, you could find something to eat at any time, day or not. I didn't run into a grumpy person while on or off board. A couple was having a problem with their young daughter and it was because she wouldn't go along with their plans, she wanted to do it her way lol. Everything was themed ...
