Great Cruise - Let's Be Honest!

This review is for the Carnival Conquest Western Caribbean Itinerary that sailed from MIami January 12, and visited Gran Cayman, Cozumel, Belize, and Roatan. I will not focus on the ports. We had previously visited three of the four, and were disappointed only by bad weather, which is no-one's fault. I also want to give an objective shout-out to the entire Conquest staff. This was our second ...

This was our 7th Carnival cruise over the last 13 years. We did get a good deal and enjoyed getting away from the cold winter weather. The ship overall was in pretty good shape, although the décor is rather drab compared to other Carnival ships. We had a OV room for the 3 of us adults and had adequate room. The food was great in the dining room and our anytime dining waitress Assadee was ...

We just got back from a 7 night New Years Cruise. This was the first time we cruised with Carnival, in the past we cruised Celebrity & Royal Caribbean. The Carnival Conquest ship is decorated with older decor on the inside. It reminded me of the 80's. it was nice and comfortable just out of date colors. The food was okay, seemed too similar in every resturant and buffet. They just mix in a ...

Returned several days ago from Carnival Conquest 7 night Carribean cruise which departed from Miami. Overall the experience was sub par. The main dining room, atrium, buffet and seating areas were so cold it was hard to enjoy anything. Even the rooms were cold. We went for Christmas with a group of 12 friends and family. Everyone agreed that the interior of the ship was so cold, that at times it ...

We just got back from a cruise on the Conquest and it deserves a strong caution.. Cabin had dryed sewage in florescent lights in ceiling....Shower was turned 4 times to get fixed overflowed and you had to shut water off during shower to prevent mess. Sewer pipe under our cabin was broke and the smell was overwhelming 4 days ...There was more but on to entertainment... We missed a port so you ...

Very Dissatisfied

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Conquest

This was our 3rd cruise with Carnival and have always been 100% satisfied in the past. We left this cruise dissappointed. My family and I felt like Carnival was making some financial "cutbacks" on this ship due to the negative publicity over the last year. The breakfast options on the buffets hardly changed the whole 7 days we were there. It was ALWAYS scrambled eggs, oatmeal, waffles, pancakes, ...

We took our First on the Carnival Conquest out of Miami on December 22, 2013. This was my kids 1st Cruise and my Second (1st was in 1988) on the Carnival Jubilee. We did a lot of research on all the Ports and the Ship. And had everything in a file. so glad we did as went back to the file several times to remember things. The ship was Gorgeous, the Staff was unbelievably Nice. The Ports-san Juan, ...

This was our fist time with a rear facing balcony, we really liked it!! The cabin is the same as all other balcony cabins that we have ever been in, the balcony was slightly larger! We had 2 chairs with a table and a lounge chair and still a little bit of room on the balcony! Down side of this balcony style was that when anyone in a room above yours drops something (like ice cream!!!) it lands on ...

This was our 7th cruise on Carnival, Holland America and Princess cruise lines and are familiar with what is out there and what to expect. First, I will speak about Carnival Cruise Lines in general. Twenty years ago when Kathy Lee Gifford was their spokesperson, Carnival was known as the party cruise line for people who wanted to hook up, get drunk, throw up and pass out. It was not family ...
