Worst Food at sea

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Carnival Horizon

We chose this for the destination. We have been on several Carnival Cruise ships and have to say this is the worst layout ever seen, elevators terrible not handicap friendly., always waiting for one then when it opens totally full. Food was awful, cheapest cuts of meat, could not chew, no flavor, only slap one piece of bread down on your plate (no breadbasket or choice of bread and I mean your ...

Looked forward to getting away on a cruise with great food and great people. Well the food was terrible 90% of the people were awesome The other 10% were like they were there to raise hell and get stoned…if you went out on the lido deck to relax it was like being at a concert. Just groups hanging out drinking and smoking weed. As for the food it’s basically like the Golden Corral on a ...

My family and I cruised for my daughter's 30th birthday. Several of us were first time cruisers and had the time of our life. The ship was beautiful, and the staff was excellent. The entertainment was awesome and so much fun. The food was not the best but was good, however the omelettes' are top notch. I cannot say enough about the cruise director Leon. We love love love him. We are hooked and ...

We chose this cruise because it was my stepson's first cruise. The crew on board are amazing. Very friendly. The food choices are super good. The cabin mattresses were more comfortable than other cruises we have been on. The massage was over the top. The only thing I was not happy with was to get to where you had to go to was difficult. You have to go up, do some walking to get to another ...

I was invited by my sisters to sail with them. After losing our mother in March, it seemed appropriate to spend time together. Anak was our cabin steward. We woke up every morning greeting him. He always had a big smile when greeting us. He attended our every need and was extremely gracious. I hope to have him again in future cruises. Mildred was just assigned to Lido deck. She too greeted ...

Miami terminal is a mess and chaotic. Boarded with a lot of people yelling that PA system told Platinum to board, but agents wouldn't let us. Guests became unruly. Platinum status is supposed to have baggage priority. We did not receive our luggage until after 7:00 that evening and that was with us going to desk twice to complain. Guests were either new cruisers or rude. No one paid ...

Very friendly staff. Larry at reflections was out waiter. He was the absolute best. I Made made sure our room was clean and fresh. He also remembered our names and made sure we were having a great time. I will miss them. They made our first cruise the best. The entertainment was wonderful. Everything was nice. Shopping, not you much to choose from jewelry, candy, alcohol, perfume and some ...

Let me preface this by saying I AM NOT THE TYPE OF PERSON TO WRITE A REVIEW LIKE THIS! HOWEVER… I WOULD BE REVIEWING 0/5 IF ABLE. This trip has been extremely disappointing, after months of research, planning and saving money we decided on this trip. However, we realized that was a mistake. The whole ship has smelled heavily of marijuana and it appears the security has done nothing to stop ...

We chose this cruise because we were not thrilled with our last Royal Caribbean cruise, and we loved the stops (we hadn't been to any of them before), plus we could put all five us in a room together for a reasonable cost. It was our first Carnival Cruise (we had done Princess and Royal Caribbean before). Embarkation was extremely easy and quick. We left our hotel on the shuttle at 1015am. At ...
