We chose this for the destination. We have been on several Carnival Cruise ships and have to say this is the worst layout ever seen, elevators terrible not handicap friendly., always waiting for one then when it opens totally full. Food was awful, cheapest cuts of meat, could not chew, no flavor, only slap one piece of bread down on your plate (no breadbasket or choice of bread and I mean your only allowed one piece, oh yes, they give you one pat of butter very generous. No tablecloths or paper menu, had to beg for one and were told they are very limited, not everyone wants to be on their cell phones when on vacation, that's why we go to get away from our everyday hustle, to relax. What happened to class? People yelling on their cell phones constantly even while in dining area, pushing and shoving unreal. We even decided to go to a specialty restaurant so we could have a decent meal and again not good. Did the waiters forget to ask if you would like coffee with desert or maybe they are told to hurry and rush people out to save a dollar or two. We have two more Carnival cruises booked out and if they are like this, we will be going back to NCL where they have class and simple things like tablecloths. We had a balcony cabin on deck 8 which was very nice, and our room steward was very friendly he actually remembered your name. The women working in the main atrium bar were also very friendly, never saw the Cruise Director, on other ships they are all over the place, also shows?? Get back to Broadway style much nicer, this zombie and headbanging has been long over with. The Java Blue is not good either, we were on the Celebration, which was outstanding offered free breakfast sandwiches, here you can get stale crescent rolls . Hopefully they will up their service in the future and get better food menus, Emeril's new ideas are awlful.
