First cruise after pandemic. Wonderful sailing!

1. I chose this cruise for the itinerary: Hawaii with many days at sea (which I love). With the pandemic still on, I felt safer on a cruise with fewer ports of calls. And I had never been to Hawaii, which was on my bucket list. Also, the price was great. Beware: this itinerary attracts lots of older people. I'm 67 and I was part of the young crowd! 2. We had an interior cabin which was ...

A very nice cruise even with the itinerary changes.

This was originally the first segment of an around the world cruise. There were a couple of Itinerary changes prior to departure due to countries not allowing travel. We were disappointed that we would finish the segment in Papeete vs. continuing on to Auckland. New Zealand, Fiji, American Samoa, along with some ports in French Polynesia were cancelled. Oceania added two days in San Francisco and ...

Best. Cruise. Ever.

We had been quite isolated and without any of our favorite pastimes of cruising, fine dining, socializing (did I mention cruising?) for over 2 years. Like many cruisers, we were hesitant to cruise again with so many concerns and changes to our past 11 cruises. We found this cruise (second leg of RTW) booked and paid in full two weeks in advance-Gulp! Oceania is our favorite line and Regatta ...

We chose this cruise over three years ago, in November of 2019. We were originally booked for October 2020, and we were so excited. By April 2020 we realized that our cruise wasn't going to happen, and we lost our enthusiasm, stopped the countdown. They didn't cancel our cruise until July 2020, three months out. Well we rebooked for August 2021, but you know what happened. Then our travel ...

Sailing on Emerald Princess was a great experience. Captain and staff were great communicators and provided great service. Dining room food choices were great and no repeat menu items although some choices were repeated . . Choices were mixed up in future menus so it was no duplicated. Jay our room Stewart was excellent. Spoke fluid English and was always helpful. No room problems. Shore ...

We have done a variation of this cruise before and are seniors so we knew we could enjoy this trip without worrying if we might miss something. It is a wonderful cruise and very friendly people on the Islands. Embarkation and disembarkation went well. We had a balcony suite which was just fine for us. Although we were on starboard I would book port if doing it again as the sun was alway on ...

Review for a Hawaii Cruise on Azamara Journey

Hawaii has been on a bucket list for years and having sailed on Azamara Journey before and liked the small friendly ship, this looked like a great trip. It was a lot of sea days, 11 out of the 18 on board. It was rough weather coming out of LA, high winds and high seas, but on the whole Journey handled it well, even if sleeping was somewhat like dozing off on a roller coaster. The staff are ...

Really enjoyed ourselves, but service not as stellar as expected

In a nutshell: Consistently best food we’ve had on a cruise ship. Special events were well above most other cruise lines. Service was good, but lacked the “sparkle” of other high end (and more expensive) cruise lines that try harder to exceed your expectations. We took this cruise because it was my mother-in-law’s 82nd birthday and Tahiti has been on her bucket list since she was a child. ...

Regent continues to excel in food and service. They get 5+ stars on those parameters. Their lecturers were quite good and Tom Jones (astronaut) was one of the best lecturers I've ever heard, and I have been a presenter at large conferences. The entertainment was good. This review covers 2 back to back cruises. The ONLY issue was that they chartered an airline to make the return trip ...
