The ship was lovely and our balcony cabin was roomy and spotlessly clean.
The choice and quality of food was excellent especially in the dining room where the service was second to none!
We loved the different choices of entertainment and was never at a loss for something to do even on the long journey accross the Atlantic .
The staff on the Navigator of the Seas went over and above in ...
After several cruises with Royal Caribbean and some prior with Fred Olsen, we have been disappointed and probably will not go with RC again. Service is poor and standards are dropping, see details below:
1 Chops Grille for lunch, poor menu selection, average quality. No sides of vegetables ?
2 No room safe, asked at customer service (twice), eventually turned up after 3 days. It then ...
If you want to eat after 10 in the evening and want more then a roll or a burnt pizza. Entertainment was a joke the cruise director needs replacing. Example colouring by numbers as an afternoon entertainment. The cruise seemed to concentrate on people who were returning customers rather then new.
Formal nights were a joke, you got dressed up to walk into the dining room for your evening meal ...
I had a wonderful time on Navigator of the Seas, it has been a few years since I sailed on her so it was nice to return. Embarkation was very smooth and very easy at Southampton as always. My cabin was 6209 an inside but kept very clean and tidy by Imade Muliana as all stateroom attendants he worked hard. All staff were amazing and all seemed happy and again worked hard. Kristina in the Schooner ...
There is a definite decline of RCCL cruises out of Southampton. Without sounding a snob these cruises appear to becoming holiday centres like Butlins and Pontins on board a large cruise ship. We experienced smoking, very bad language and at times drunkenness in the casino and some bars. There were also charges put on our account that were incorrect, these were corrected when challenged, but ...
We had cruised with Royal Caribbean before and liked the friendly, relaxed atmosphere on board. I agree with another post that the food in the Main Dining Room was not as nice or varied as it was last year so we ate in the Windjammer most nights and that was fine and always possible to find something we liked. We try and avoid School Holidays but still there were lots of children aboard. As much ...
cabin 6298 is opposite a main cleaning storage cupboard where all the room attendants congregate. It is extremely noisy here from early in the morning and in the afternoon. I wouldn't recommend this room. The room was clean and well maintained.
The food in the main dining room for breakfast was chaos queues out the door waiting for a seat every morning for a good 15 mins. Then table staff ...
We had previously cruised on the Navigator in 2016 and enjoyed it (13 Nights), despite the ship looking a little jaded in places, but the shows and the itinerary made up for the condition of the ship. However in 2017 the ship looks a little rougher, but the shows are identical and the staff are just not interested in being polite and happy. The itinerary had been cut by 3 port days, which meant ...
Third cruise with RC, as a family including grandparents in their seventies. Superb facilities for young chilldren . A disco for small children was the only thing that we missed, half an hour 7.30 ish would have been great . Service from all the staff was very good , dining room was lovely , food excellent with lots of choice. Seven and five year old ate with us in dining room and were very well ...
Just returned from an excellent family cruise around the Canary Islands. We were a group of 6 adults and one very young child occupying three staterooms No. 8368 a port side aft balcony, No. 8690 an aft balcony and No. 1655 an internal virtual Balcony. The port side balcony was very roomy with a 4 seat couch. The aft balcony stateroom was rather restricted in size for the 2 adults and a small ...
