We booked this cruise because we wanted to try out the Celebrity Edge from Ft. Lauderdale to Europe. We were planning to leave the ship in Le Harve, France for a river cruise to Normandy, and saw this as an opportunity to easily travel the Atlantic. We choose this cruise because it was a transatlantic combined with the Baltic ports, which we wanted to see, besides we were twice before in the Zuiderdam and had a fantastic time with great music and entertainment.

Embarkation was very slow in a very hot hall. Our cases came quickly and our room attendant was very efficient and pleasant. Our cabin was spacious very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We sailed a repositioning transatlantic cruise.
Pros
This is my 43rd cruise and I haven’t been on a cruise I haven’t absolutely loved. This cruise was no exception. The staff were eager to make sure we were happy, especially our superior cabin steward, Martin.
This particular cruise they were very generous with the “elite” 5 to 7 pm cocktail time.

We expected more from Celebrity. The food choices were limited in the main dining room. They seem to always be trying to upsell you .Difficulty getting off the ship in port with only one gangway.
