A second great cruise but noticed some downgrades

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Seven Seas Voyager

This is our second Regent Cruise. We are seasoned and active cruisers in our 50's who usually book upper end cabins which is why we decided to try the "all-inclusive" that Regent offers. We have cruised with Holland America, Princess and so on but decided to try a luxury line. Our first luxury cruise was with the Navigator with a penthouse which we loved! The service was exemplary; the excursions ...

Great But....

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Seabourn Quest

We went on our 2nd Seabourn Quest trip in two years. This time, we chose a 12day trip up to the Northern Europe/Baltic Sea for our honeymoon. We have loved our experience with Seabourn however, our last trip will probably be the last unless they change their smoking policy. They allow smoking inside! Yes, inside the Observation Bar after 8:00 PM which is one of the nicest places to be prior to ...

Great Cruise but slippage in food quality

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Marina

We had sailed twice before on the Riviera, which is almost identical to the Marina. We arrived in Copenhagen the day before to a rainy start for the trip. But by noon the weather had cleared and the next rain we saw was a few hours in Helsinki. You could not have asked for better weather in Northern Europe in September. Upon arrival we were able to purchase wine for the cruise at the duty free ...

Lovely time on the Marina!

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Marina

Overall, the Marina is a lovely ship and we were very pleased with our experience. Let's start with the good stuff: Cabin--very attractive and comfortable veranda stateroom. Bathroom was a bit cramped, but the bed was heaven. Food--Oceania markets itself as a foodie line, and they live up to their billing. The food was great in every venue (except Polo Grill). Service--great! Staff was ...

A Very Pleasant Cruise; Short of 6 Star

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Silver Whisper

We had a fabulous cruise, in part because of the high points of the Silversea experience, and in part because we experienced unseasonably wonderful weather and the ports on this 7 day cruise, including the embarkation and disembarkation cities, were so wonderful; St. Petersburg was especially wonderful over three long, intensive days. As a port intensive itinerary the shortcomings of the cruise ...

My journey on Journey...

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Azamara Journey

Cabin #7078 (Standard Balcony) Loved the location! Yes, it is directly across from the laundry room, but we were never disturbed from door slamming, foot traffic, etc. The comfort & ease of being mid ship and having the convenience of Windows Cafe just 2 decks up, coffee bar, 2 decks down, was great. Embarkation: We did traditional cruise air with ground transfers (not Choice Air), so we did ...

Enjoyable Cruise on the Marina

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Marina

We took the Voyage of the Vikings that started on July 1st in Copenhagen and ended in Dover, England on July 15th. My wife and myself liked our cabin on deck nine concierge level 4. The cabin was large enough for us and had a nice balcony. My only criticism about the cabin is that the shower was a little too tight for me, I'm 6'2"; I wish that they could have eliminated the bathtub, which we ...

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Seabourn Sojourn

User Avatar

2-5 Cruises • Age 60s

I recently sailed the Seabourn Sojourn, through the Baltic Seas, and we had a great time. This was my second time cruising a Seabourn ship, and the experience was a bit different. We had cruised the Spirit that was smaller and more personalized. The Soujourn was bigger and the small cruise experience was definitively lost a bit, which was a bit disappointing, since we are kind of quite couple, ...

Delightful Azamara JOURNEY over-delivered in many ways!

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Azamara Journey

User Avatar

First Time Cruiser • Age 70s

The ship was comfortable in all weather conditions, thanks to stabilizers. Small enough to get into all but one port (Geiranger, Norway) without tendering. The ship was built ten years ago and shows her age. But staff (friendly and willing) and food (delicious and plentiful) more than made up for it. The ship was big enough to offer choices in food and entertainment, but small enough to retain ...
