Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Celebrity Reflection

This was our 8th cruise (3rd with Celebrity, 2nd on Reflection). We are a married couple in our late 40s with no young children and we love cruising. I am sorry to say that I am not sure Celebrity can say the same any more. I will detail the positives first as there were many more of those. First, the ship is beautiful. It is a wonder to behold. Art everywhere and very cool. Having just ...

Mostly disappointed

First impressions were good. Embarkation was mostly smooth, but for the fact that the pier 18 parking had been closed (not Celebrity's fault so cannot hold that against them). It took a while to get the sea-passes, we saw three families come and leave at the next counter... so for us long, but others seem to have no issue, so I'm going to say not something that is always happening. Arriving ...

Very Disappointing - Used to Better from Celebrity

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Celebrity Reflection

We chose this cruise because the ports of call included Costa Rica and Panama. We are also very loyal Celebrity customers having taken our last 7 cruises with Celebrity. Where the ship docked for both of these stops was possibly in the worst are possible. Puerto Limon is an absolute ghetto. The bus ride to our tour was very depressing. Colon was not much better in Panama. Both of these need ...

We were a group of 10, 7 of which had never cruised before, we ranged in ages from 7 thru 66. It was an unbelievable experience for everyone. The crew/staff amazing, in 11 days all we saw were smiles and pleasantry, that's hard to do for 11 days in a row. Can not say enough good things, about the way we were all treated, the food was unbelievable better than any 5 star restaurant, always fresh ...

Room was small but room attendant was great,CS2 Food was excellent, lecturers were good. Specialty restaurants were excellent. The made Veal Cordon Blue for me. Hot tub and Sauna were great Persian Garden was not worth the extra money. Shore excursions were good. Panama Canal was excellent. It would have been nice to have a complimentary Bridge and engine room tour as we were elite ...

We were interested in a holiday cruise and really liked the itinerary, which included Costa Rica, Panama, Columbia for an overnighter, Grand Cayman and Cozumel. This cruise didn't disappoint. The staff was probably the best we have experienced on a cruise, very professional, friendly, and the officers were very visible. The food in the dining room was great for dinner, and the buffet was perfect ...

First Ever Cruise

We were apprehensive as it was our first every cruise. We had been in Orlando for 12 nights prior to travelling down to Fort Lauderdale for an overnight stay before joining Reflection on 22 December 2017 for an 11 day cruise. Embarkation went very well probably better that checking into an airport! We were welcomed on board then went in search of the Ocean view cafe. What a wonderful selection of ...

We choose this cruise for the ports and also wanted to try an 11 day (have always done 7 day). This was our 2nd Celebrity Cruise. Our first was in 2001. Since then we've done 3 Princess, 2 RCL, 1 HAL, 1 NCL. We were excited to return to Celebrity.... and unfortunately have to say we were disappointed. Good: Beautiful ship. Easy embarkment (there was a delay due to a norwalk outbreak ...

A friend suggested this sailing to us and we jumped on the bandwagon so to speak. We booked nine months before the sailing so it took awhile to get here. We invited some friends and family to join us and we ended up being a very compatible group of eight. We decided to do Aqua Class for the main benefit of eating in Blu. This particular cruise we never stepped into the spa. But our ...

Wonderful Cruise...One of Our Best Ever

We love getting out of the cold Northeast this time of year to the warm Caribbean. This year we luckily chose a cruise that was unaffected by last summer's hurricanes and went to the ABC islands. We prefer leaving from Port Everglades to Port of Miami, so this cruise was ideal all around. We arrived in FLL the day prior to departure and were concerned when we were checking into our hotel and ...
