We were apprehensive as it was our first every cruise. We had been in Orlando for 12 nights prior to travelling down to Fort Lauderdale for an overnight stay before joining Reflection on 22 December 2017 for an 11 day cruise. Embarkation went very well probably better that checking into an airport! We were welcomed on board then went in search of the Ocean view cafe. What a wonderful selection of food! Later we went to our stateroom where we were welcomed by our concierge Weyon. What a great fellow he was he explained everything we asked about the ship and proceedures to us. The stateroom and the balcony were excellent and the space had been used very well. We were Aft and had a great view of the wake left by the ship as it moved along. We were on deck 11. No one overlooked us and it was very private and comfortable. We had a marvellous experience which was compounded by our splendid concierge.

Dining had been booked in the main dining room on a table for two each night. We used that table every night for the whole cruise. Our Waiter was Jeson from Goa he is a gentleman who really does know all about customer service. He was superb throughout the cruise. Our assistant waiter was Teresa from Peru. What lovely lady! Nothing was too much trouble. She handled everything first class. Jeson and Teresa were an excellent team. The quality and presentation of the food was second to none. We did not want to go anywhere else! The wine specialist was Tirana and she handled everything very well and her knowledge of wines was great. Our breakfast and lunches were spent in the Ocean view cafe. You could not get a better selection of food anywhere in the world. What a marvellous place it is.

Entertainment on the ship was the best. We used the theatre almost every night. We lost a few dollars in the casino but it was most enjoyable!! We did not get involved with any activities other than lying in the sun.
