As a solo cruiser and my first cruise, I really enjoyed this cruise overall. It was easy to meet other people and to do activities with them. Every dinner, for evening activities and for island shore excursions, I had dining companions, conversation and company for activities. Lots to do each day......not a problem for a solo cruiser. The food was varied and plentiful. Great service given in ...
This was our third cruise on Legend and our second with the same itinerary so we knew what to expect. There's lots to do, great entertainment, excellent food. We tended to go to the restaurant each night to avoid the temptation of too much food being available on the Lido deck - great service and lots of variety at the restaurant changing every night. The Nouveau Restaurant was worth a visit - ...
This was our first cruise ever and first real family holiday. My husband and I walked randomly into a travel agent's office one day just playing the idea in our head for a family holiday and within two days, had booked the cruise. We have 4 children, aged 13, 11, 8 and 4. To be honest, I was a little nervous about a cruise vacation. But we are now hooked. We've caught the cruising bug and can't ...
I happened to walk into the Cruise specialist TA and ask if there were any good deals around for a cruise out of Sydney. A balcony room for 2 people for 11 nights at a total cost of $2,300 seemed like a good deal, so I accepted.
Embarkation worked well. We were on the 12 - 12:30pm check-in and onboard about 12:45pm.
Decoration is a matter of personal taste - think Vegas Casino and you won't ...
I'd never considered going on a Carnival cruise before this trip. Perhaps the snob in me said it was too down market and there were better alternatives around. The price however was right as was the timing so we said 'why not' and I'm glad we did.
All our preconceptions were blown away from the moment we boarded. The Carnival Spirit is such a unique ship. I must admit the interior takes some ...
We have enjoy cruising on other shipping lines, when we were invited to join friends on Carnival we thought sure. Haven't been on carnival before. First time for everything. Overall the food is plentyful, with lots of variations, Pizza, Mexican, BBQ, Dinning room food is truly delicious. If you have children then this cruise is for you, as they have great water slides and activities for children. ...
Second time on Carnival and we enjoyed ourselves again. Family of three, one teenager doing 8 days south pacific. Stopped Noumea, Mare and Isle of Pines. Highlight was captain alerting us to whales alongside ship. Great crew and everything went really smoothly. Sixteen yo made most of O2 and had a ball. Went to Nouveau and it was worth every cent. Would not bother again with buffet for ...
We chose this cruise for its price the line had some specials going and as we are now pensioners price is paramount. We had not cruised with Carnival before but had cruised with little sister P&O and two of Royal Carribean. I had imagined that Carnival would be much better then P&O but didn't find to much difference except size of ship being much bigger. I did prefer the food in the buffet area ...
My first cruise.A solo adventure.
Firstly, as I was traveling Solo and paid the Single supplement for an internal room, I was surprised & pleased to be upgraded to a balcony!
Thanks Carnival!
As a Middle aged Man that is a Farmer, I have to admit I was a little overwhelmed with the number of people everywhere.
The activities included meet ups for Singles.
Why not meetups for Solo ...
We had a great time with our family. There was so much for the kids to do, always something happening. Kids club was great for them too, they enjoyed it every now and again....,good break for the adults aswell. Cabin was great and Ronald couldnt do enough for us. Thought though that the food was a bit bland, although there was always plenty there. The hamburger and the mexican burritto bar were ...
