Disappointing entertainment venue

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Glory

this Was the fourth cruise with Carnival. All the others had been outstandingly enjoyable so was really looking forward to this one. Another couple that has traveled with us in the past was also with us on this one. They had never been to Nassau and none of us had spent enough time in Key West. The ship, although rather aged in cruise vessels, was very well maintained. Not much rust was apparent ...

Not great

The ship was overcrowded wasn't enough places to sit by the pool area and staff would constantly make people get up off their lounge chairs on lido deck so they could do some kind of activity. State room was hot and stuffy, water in state room showers could not be regulated it was degrees of hot to really really hot! Food in dining room was average at best . Planned activities were overlapping ...

The No Fun Ship!

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Carnival Glory

We were excited to cruise to the ports on the extended cruise for 25th Anniversary. Little did we know it would be a 80s themed cruise both entertainment and passengers. If we did ...we never would have booked it. Be aware when we got back and I called Carnival told me that the older age group is common for the Journey Cruises. (Didn’t see that in the description)Other than that I can’t say enough ...

Tattered and worn but still fun

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Glory

This was my 3rd cruise on Carnival and while we had fun it just wasn't their best effort. The ship is tattered and torn, the entertainment was disappointing with the exception of the comedians they were pretty good but the other shows were pretty lame. The food started out pretty good but Guy's Burgers was a let down from my previous cruise, the dining room was tasty at first as well but the last ...

As stated in the title, the Crew, Entertainment, and Activities were great! They sure know how to keep you busy, but we were not impressed with the shape the ship was in. Our cabin had dirt in the crevices, the gasket around the window was peeling off, the sink in our room wouldn't go down (this was fixed), our shower drained so slowly that the first night we flooded the floor in the bathroom ...

We are platinum members with the Carnival Cruise line. We have been loyal to them because we enjoy the fun on the fun ship. We did a B2B January 2- 19...eastern/western Caribbean. The quality of the food, especially on the buffet, and the temperature of the ship were our main complaints. We didn't go on a Caribbean cruise to freeze in our room, the dining room and all lounges. We didn't go to ...

Just OK

We decided to choose this cruise because of the western itinerary, Grand Cayman, Honduras, Belize and Cozumel. We have never been to Honduras or Belize and figured this would be a good opportunity to see those places . Two of the ports you had to take the water shuttle to the island, that was Grand Cayman and Belize. In Belize it was a 20 minute ride. The water taxi is ok but you spend ...

Not the best cruise I've been on

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Glory

The food was not great, in fact as a foodie, I would describe it as mediocre. Dinner was best, but still not stellar, desserts were the best part of every meal. Even the kids thought it was gross. One of a small list of reasons we chose a cruise over a resort vacation was for the food. I've been on 5 cruises (my 2nd Carnival) and this was by far the worst food I'd ever had on a cruise, unless you ...

Have been on worse ships, this was outdated but we found it clean, funky smells in certain areas - (like in most ships) Lido deck, food selection not inviting. Day after day the same selections. Guys Burger and BBQ refreshing. Known for a younger crowd with families as it is affordable. Overall, we don't have complaints. Definately needs better elevator service and deportation was very ...
