We were excited to cruise to the ports on the extended cruise for 25th Anniversary. Little did we know it would be a 80s themed cruise both entertainment and passengers. If we did ...we never would have booked it. Be aware when we got back and I called Carnival told me that the older age group is common for the Journey Cruises. (Didn’t see that in the description)Other than that I can’t say enough about the crew, they were awesome. The cabin we had was nice for an older ship. We did love all of the ports and excursions. We snorkeled at all. But the repetition of entertainment was hard. For 12 days you need a bigger variety. We got bored. We have been on other cruises and will cruise again. Just not on a “Senior Cruise” lol. We are in our 50s not wild but do like to have fun! I’ve never been on a cruise that there was no dancing by the pool on sea days. The repetitive music was killing us if I never hear Hotel California on a steel drum I will die a happy woman.

Nice a little noisy early morning if you want to sleep in may not. E the right cabin for you. It starts at 6:00am doesn’t last all day but banging will wake most people up. I used noise canceling ear plugs and was fine.
