Chose this cruise because Silversea has in the past been good. Sadly this cruise did not come anywhere near previous experiences. Boarding very casual. It should be the first cruise and should be a great experience. On closer inspection, the ship was outmoded, worn and not up to date. Data transfer to iphone or laptop a sheer catastrophe. The bed width (we had twinbeds) only 80 cm - with a little swell you threatened to fall out. The ship is new and is beautiful! But we have been on many other ocean and river cruises and, aside from the ship, the price point is not justified. We did not see our butler until we called him to the room and hardly saw him after that. Had a great time on prior Silver Muse of Eastern Mediterranean, Rome to Venice and wanted to experience the Western portion, Athens to Barcelona.
