1-10 of 151 Celebrity Constellation Cruise Reviews for Romantic to Europe - Western Mediterranean from Venice
We chose this cruise/ line based on the itinerary. We booked Aqua Class but didn’t really use anything but Blu. We ate in here every night and were able to choose the Blu menu or Main Dining Room menu. We enjoyed the smaller, quieter space. Food was good, but not sure it was any better than the NCL cruises we’ve been on in the past. The crew was phenomenal- super patient and friendly. I observed ...
We (wife and I, and another couple – call us “late 50’s”) chose this cruise as we wanted to experience a European cruise after doing several Caribbean cruises. This was our 3rd cruise on Celebrity. The Venice-Rome, and Dalmatian Coast was highly appealing to us as we have read so much about these areas. Port stops were Rijeka, Split, and Dubrovnik (Croatia); Kotor, Montenegro; Valleta, Malta; ...
We sailed on Constellation's voyage from Venice to Rome. We had a great itinerary. Embarkation in Venice was extremely smooth and we were in our stateroom less than one-half hour after getting to the pier. Celebrity staff were mostly friendly and helpful. Food in the main dining room was very good but mediocre in the buffet. Food there was often lukewarm and would become cold by the time you got ...
This is our 12th cruise, the third to the Mediterranean area, and our first on Celebrity. We chose this cruise for the itinerary. With the exception of Barcelona, we had not been to any of these ports on our prior cruises. Having read some of the reviews, I had become a bit skeptical about the condition of the ship. She was beautiful, very well maintained and very clean. One would have look ...
Constellation is an older ship and needs it's planned upgrade next year. having said that it is well maintained, very clean and has a good happy crew
The layout does need re modeling but the larger lounges and cafe are good points over Solstice class ships but the lack of alternative dining options and under used areas are worse.
We were not happy at all with luggage arrangements at Venice ...
Having met two couples in June 2018 on the Baltic cruise on the Eclipse we decided to cruise again this year on Constellation for the Dalmatian coast cruise.
Having read numerous reviews my expectation was of an older ship and I did not expect to experience the excellence of our previous cruise.
We booked early and chose Aqua class and had rooms on deck 9 I had heard poor reviews as pool ...
Just returned from a first cruise on Constellation . Was a bit worried as some of the reviews mentioned wear and tear and dated ship. Worry not! The ship looks great, immaculately clean, a lovely stateroom, (maybe not the most modern of colours) and beautiful communal areas.
But what made this trip so good were the staff, right through from the stateroom attendant to the restaurant and the ...
First time in a Millennium class ship, not overtly impressed. Needed a refurb and the layout of some areas like the buffet, elevators, main parlor were small and odd. I'll definitely make sure I'm on a solstice or edge class next. I enjoyed Blue as we usually do concierge class. The wine selection by the glass even for premium is seriously lacking...the wines were poor and cheap. I missed ...
We are a Canadian couple in our early 50's have done both cruising and all inclusive packages. This was our 20th cruise and 2nd with Celebrity. ( some back ground details so you understand this was not our first experience at travel.)
We had chosen Celebrity as this was our second European journey with Celebrity. Love the size of the ships and the itineraries. We also landed a few perks that ...
Our recent trip on Celebrity Constellation from Venice to Rome was a disappointment. The number of people, the noisy activities, the lack of basic information and the continual selling of products produced a less desirable atmosphere. Also, in many ways it was like going to a private club where one did not know the rules. Throughout the cruise we were finding out how things worked or what was or ...
