We travelled on Quest from Singapore to Athens after a Xmas Silverseas Spirit experience and the difference could not be more stark. Yes we did a review after our Xmas experience and now compare the amazing difference. Quest crew were excellent all happy and friendly and seem to want to be there and make your trip pleasurable. Things like the nightly shows were at a reasonable time 8.15 pm ...

SECTION OF WORLD CRUISE FROM SINGAPORE

We joined QM2 at Singapore on a section of her world voyage. Embarkcation was reasonable enough and were soon at the Kings Court for a light lunch. Our cabin was an obstructed balcony on deck 7 - a spacious cabin well turned out although we did have a problem with a leaking toilet for 2 days at the start of the cruise. Our cabin stewardess from South Africa was excellent - nothing was too ...

Fortuna is FANTASTIC!

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Costa Fortuna

We chose this cruise because we happened to be going from Singapore to Rome. The price was outstanding, so despite the generally poor reviews, we tried Costa. Shazaam!...now we’re big Costa fans! The ship is good, but the crew is amazing. Costa (or at least the Fortuna) clearly has the secret sauce recipe for keeping its crew (apparently) happy and very highly effective. Here’s some ...

Review for a Italy Cruise on Sapphire Princess

We received an up grade to a balcony cabin, had an excellent cabin crew member,Bambang. Rarely had any spare time as there was so much organized activity to keep us occupied. The ports visited in many cases were a first time for the ship and ourselves. We were offered a large choice of shore tours at each stop which we really enjoyed. The food choice and range was excellent at any dining place ...

Chose this cruise for the ports. Princess cruises is usually our first choice. The Sapphire Princess had just come from a refurbishment which was great. New beds , new flat screen TV's, new carpets etc. Embarkation went smoothly approx 45 min. Our first port was Sri Lanka then Cochin. Did the backwater tour in Cochin (ship tour). We really enjoyed all the ports. The weather was good and very ...

We have been on several river cruises with Uniworld and had wonderful experiences and on a 2 week cruise with Blount on the Great Lakes in the USA, but apart from couple of cruises up and down the Norwegian coast on the Hurtigruten, this was our first sea cruise. The moment we stepped on board in Singapore, we entered a world of comfort, luxury and plenty, all delivered with good humour and ...

I have always wanted to visit Petra. This cruise included Petra plus The Holy Land and the Suez Canal, all new to me. We have taken several trips on Seabourn and love everything about it. The rooms are comfortable and have enough space which is apparently not always the case. The staff makes a tremendous effort to be cheerful, and helpful. By the third day one is greeted by name. Roberto, in ...

Although we have been on over 30 cruises of 1 week or more, we did not know what to expect with Azamara. They had just changed to Azamara Club Cruises offering included gratuties, wine with lunch and supper, included soft drinks, bottled water, shuttle service for ports, etc. CHECK IN was fast, smooth and easy. Staff were on hand to ensure all went well and signage was good. We arrived too early ...

It may sound like a clichE but we really did not want to leave the Azamara Quest after 24 days onboard. We have never had such a wonderful, relaxing holiday and home seemed a world away. Let me start with some information to put the cruise and this review into perspective. I am 54 and my husband 64. This was our fourth cruise and we have previously sailed on Celebrity Millennium, Celebrity ...
