Cruised the Eastern Med, Athens to Athens 14 days September Fourth time over 6 years on the Encore. Positives The crew are as good as ever, service excellent everywhere. Great itinerary with some interesting small ports. The ship rides well and is well designed. The main restaurant and the Colonnade are excellent for dinner. Easy ship to relax on. Really good bar ...

I am wrapping up a 14 night sailing from Athens to Athens onboard the Seabourn Encore. I have always been a fan of Seabourn and feel comfortable on board. Cruising on Seabourn as a return guest is truly like "coming home". The best asset that Seabourn has is their staff. This sailing was no exception. Under the direction of Hotel Director Kevin Huxham guests enjoy a level of service ...

Not Quite The Same Seabourn

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Seabourn Encore

We were really looking forward to our 14-day cruise - Athens - Istanbul - Athens - as we had loved all our previous voyages with Seabourn. However, while certain features remained distinctively Seabourn, some things had definitely changed. On the positive side our cabin was, as always, very good and our room service staff friendly and helpful. The public areas of the ship were ...

A little less than expected

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Seabourn Sojourn

We chose this cruise because the itinerary covered ports which we hadn't been to, and it offered a handsome discount because our Antarctic cruise had been cancelled. Also, we were going to be in the area for a family occasion later in the month. The other prior ultra luxury cruise we'd been on was on the Regent Explorer, which won hands down. These were my problems with the Sojourn: 1. ...

No Teak Decks on Terrace

Review for a Trans-Ocean Cruise on Seabourn Encore

I had an enjoyable Cruise from Athens to Sydney. Personnel outstanding, Food of a higher Level than thought. Wines of very good quality, but offered at higher temperatures than would be appropriate, a pity. This new ship has somme deficiencies: No teak decks on Verandas, in tropic climate with sun, it is impossible to stand barefoot on your terrace, too hot! Plastic! Also on Deck 7 forward area ...

Brand New Ship on First Voyage

Being past Seabourn clients, we wanted to test drive this new ship and with a great price on offer for the first leg of its inaugural run, couldn't resist signing up even though the itinerary was not super enticing. Took the Flight Ease program as well for convenience as finding our own flights out of Dubai was a bit of a challenge - and we were well rewarded for it. The very competitive price ...

Fabulous food & service on the Odyssey

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Seabourn Odyssey

First timers on Seabourn. The great stuff: - the food. Best we've had on a ship, almost everything was excellent and some would rival fine land restaurants - the cabin, our most recent cruises were with Az and Oceania so the room was much larger for a start but also beautifully 'done'. We loved the walk in wardrobe, the bathroom and the size of the sitting area - the service was ...
