We chose this particular cruise for the itinerary it offered. For the most part, it met our expectations. However, we were unable to disembark in Easter Island due to high swells (no docking there, so tenders are needed). I had never travelled QM2 before and found a balcony cabin on a cruise travelling to Sydney at a reasonable price entry point. Found the ship to be tired with very uneven floor surfaces including holes that were a trip hazards, especially in the casino. . I was very surprised as I expected top quality. Boarding at Valparaiso went well. Our cabin was great, and we were on G deck, the lowest passenger deck. The marina is a very comfortable ship and we and our 4 friends had a great time. The Marina is a beautiful ship with large open areas. Even when the ship is completely full, as it was for us, you do not feel crowded anywhere. On the top of the ship is a running track and below it and above the pool another walking area.
