Great service

Overall the crew and staff were excellent. You never waited for a drink refill or assistance to do anything. The shows were ok. The highlight were the two musical variety shows. The stage is feeling it’s age. Some stage lights were broken or off, especially in the first show. The two comedies were what I’d expect in an older poconos resort. Ok if there is nothing else to do but not ...

Our first time cruising, last time with Royal Caribbean. i actually wanted to do 1 out of five but decided to do 2/5 just because of the hard working staff. Do yourself a favor, and don't waste your money on this cruise, you are better off spend your money on a nice resort. Here is why I gave them a poor rating: *The main reason that we booked this cruise is to go to Cocokay island. But the ...

It is one of the worst vacation that we took. The first time on a cruise ship and the last time with royal Caribbean. If you are reading this post, don’t waste your money. The only reason that I gave the 2/5 is because of the hard working staff onboard the ship. Here are some of what experienced onboard the ship: 1. Long waiting lines to get your sailing card 2. Very small rooms even though ...

Toilet overflowed before it was even used first day and flooded bathroom, took two hours for someone to show up. They brought towels when they showed up when we needed a plumber. We called 4 different numbers for hours. I was up until 3am using every towel in my room to make sure it didn't flood on to the carpet. Safe broke because battery was too low, again called twice to address and it ...

Was very smooth getting on the ship and room was ready by 1:30pm with luggage waiting for us. Stateroom attendant, Joel was wonderful! One morning we didn't get an item ordered for breakfast room service and had to leave for excursion. Came back to find an apology note and chocolate covered strawberries. The ship was clean and well maintained. This was my first cruise so I do not have any ...

About the Reviewer: I’m a mid-30s male who cruised solo. I used the Explorer of the Seas as a vehicle to leisurely get home after intense touring in Australia and New Zealand. This was supposed to be my second non-charter Royal Caribbean sailing but my first one on the Radiance to go around New Zealand was cancelled (April 6 departure). Overall, this was my fourth Royal Caribbean cruise with the ...

We chose to sail of Jewel of the Seas as we decide to visit the southern Caribbean countries. The cruise ports of calls were the ones we expected to visit.. We had an enjoyable cruise which was really awesome. . We were amazed by the high quality of service of the staff members. They were all very cooperative and enthusiastic towards customers from the very first day of the embarkation. They ...

We sailed with my wife and my parents. It was out first time experiencing star class. We arrived at the port around 12:45 PM. We informed the porters were were star class. They separated out bags from the other parties coming from the same hotel shuttle. We were quickly whisked away towards the cruise terminal. However, this is where star class shined. We entered the terminal with ...

Celebrating Retirement

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

I wanted a cruise to celebrate my retirement for 2018. We booked the cruise early to get a nice room. Once we booked, we anticipated a very good time. Upon arrival, the lines were long to get into the check-in area. Once we got to our room, we unpacked and got started on the activities. The room itself was good however, there was a strong urine/sewer gas smell in the bathroom. Our attendant ...
