Overall this is an absolutely amazing ship..leaps and bounds ahead of anything else in the RCL, NCL, or Carnival lines. We are two late-twenty/early-thirty childless females who have been on 20+ cruises and this is by far our favorite ship. It truly is unlike any other and feels like every inch of the ship was considered. We were told this sailing was one of the first at full capacity and, save ...
This was our first cruise experience. We have always done the ‘all-inclusive’ vacation packages to our chosen destinations. We were on the cruise with cousins.
None of our bids for stateroom upgrade were accepted. We had an ocean view room with a queen bed and a sofa that made into a double bed. Storage was incredibly ample. The shower was cramped and the bathroom reeked of urine the entire ...
We just got off the Icon of the Seas after it's 6th sailing. The ship is beautiful. Has so many wonderful things- but some negatives. Boarding was fast and easy- well organized- we entered Deck five- the promenade- it is spacious filled with many features of the Oasis class- but much wider and brighter- the Pearl is a beautiful structure on that level . Shops restaurants and so much to see. ...
We haven't sailed with Royal in almost 20 years and have been on 6 Carnival cruises in between those times. We had a very good time to say the least.
Miami was our port and we got thru security and onto the ship within 30 mins but I could see it taking an hour or more easily. The ship was laid out better than most of Carnivals ships, and its really easy to navigate. It felt more grand than ...
First, the port of Baltimore. We had a 12:00 arrival time but the traffic inside the port was so bad we weren't able to park until a half hour or so later even though we arrived about 15 minutes early. So many people coming in an hour or more before their scheduled time clogged things up I think. Once we were able to park, we found the appropriate line for our time and breezed through quickly. ...
After reading all the negative reviews I almost did not book this old ship! I am picky, really picky and I am a true "Karen". I booked he one bedroom Owner's suite cabin. This cabin was on deck 10 and near the elevator, which after pulling a hamstring days before the cruise was extremely helpful. The towels were not exactly fluffy and yes the hot water handle fell off when I turned it on, ...
We were on symphony 4 years ago and booked as soon as Wonder became available. We really enjoyed Symphony, so figured we would enjoy the “improved” version. For the most part we really did. Obviously the ship was in tip top shape, still really new. The biggest improvement we found was the addition of the View Bar, amazing little spot that was welcomed. Awesome sea views while sipping on your ...
Overall, we had an very good experience. The crew was outstanding- knowledgeable, efficient and had good senses of humor. Food was a little uneven in the main dining room and certainly not to pre-pandemic standards. On lobster night, my wife and I had to laugh at the smallest tails we'd ever seen. We had a three night dining package and were disappointed in Chops Grille. It was nothing ...
Booked this cruise because of the itinerary. I planned on visiting friends in both Barbados and Tobago, which I did. The only problem with the itinerary is the San Juan departure port which is cumbersome to get to. The Jewel although one of RCI's older ships was clean and well maintained and really doesn't show her age. Some aspects like the tiny pools and small windjammer buffet do harken to ...
We cruised with family - three couples. We loved the ship - our third time on Anthem! The good things: lots of activities and things to do on the ship: pickle ball, bumper cars, roller skating! Escape Room, i Fly, and the Northstar! The entertainment is first rate: Iconic band was extraordinary - there was not one song played that did not sound like the original artist - and they have nice ...
