We chose this cruise because of our experience with RCCL and the itinerary. We are avid cruises and have cruised several different lines. We feel RCCL provides the best overall product however we had read some unsettling reviews on Cruise Critic for the Anthem of the Seas. Luckily shortly after boarding all our worries disappeared as my wife ad I had an amazing vacation experience. The ship is ...

Excellent Crew, Planning and Individual Care

We have been planning to take a New England / Canada Cruise for years. This was a celebration for our 48th anniversary and it couldn't have been better. The Sky Loft suite (10722) was exceptional - embarkation and disembarkation were planned perfectly and extremely efficient. Port excursions were pre-planned by Royal Caribbean and went without a hitch. While we made all of our scheduled tours, ...

This is my first review. I did not know Cruise Critic existed until about a month before this cruise. My wife and I, along with my parents took the 9-night New England / Canada cruise. We booked this cruise almost two years ago. It was originally planned as a family reunion event, but over time, family members backed out for various reasons. This left us four to enjoy the cruise. ...

We chose this ship as we had never been to New England. What a wonderful way to see the fall and enjoy the fun of a cruise. Mostly we cruise the Caribbean as we live in Florida, so this trip was a wonderful change. This ship is beautiful with many upgraded electronics like your room key/card is placed in a holder by the door for electricity to your room. Reminds me of Europe. Another cost ...

We chose this cruise because we wanted to try this ship and these ports. I had read a lot of bad reviews before we went but we could not have had a better cruise. The ship and crew were wonderful. Everyone was very helpful. Our cabin attendant was wonderful our cabin was always clean and ready. We rarely saw him but when we did he was very helpful and always did a great job. Our cabin was 11556 ...

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Serenade of the Seas

Main reason for choosing this cruise was because it departed and returned to Boston, no airport involved. We have done the Canada New England cruise before which is a lovely cruise at this time of the year This cruise exceeded our expectations. I have no bones about calling myself a "cruise snob", because I only like the newest ships, or so I thought. The Serenade OTS was a perfect ship for us ...

As we'd cruised the Caribbean, Alaska, and the Panama Canal, we decided to go to New England & Canada, and we're so glad we did. We loved all the ports, but Bar Harbor was our favorite. We hadn't been to Baltimore, so we went a couple of days early to explore this beautiful city. Took a bus/trolley tour to visit the city, even took the water taxi over to Ft. McHenry. Very impressed with this ...

This cruise on Grandeur of the Seas redeemed the reputation of RCCI and Celebrity for me. Past cruises with RCCI and Celebrity had been disasters. This cruise on Grandeur of the Seas was GREAT very enjoyable. We and our friends had a great time. The staff and crew were the most pleasant, helpful, and courteous that we have encountered. Yes, the Grandeur is an older ship, a little warn around ...

We have traveled with Royal Caribbean multiple times and have had wonderful experiences. The Grandeur is an older and smaller ship so we weren't sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised to find the ship is in excellent condition and is very clean. Yes, you can see lots of nicks and scratches but you can also see she has been well cared for. Although the ship is small, it didn't seem ...
